Beyonce And Kelly Rowland Joint Album Rumored To Be On The Way

October 16, 2018

Hive, alert! It looks like there very well may be another joint album with Beyoncé attached on the way…but this time, it’s not with her husband. It looks like Bey’s partner in crime will be none other than her sister in Destiny, Kelly Rowland. At least, that’s what we have in the way of fan speculation at the moment…

Sharp-eyed IG users noticed an ominous, yet unexplained countdown appear on the official “Everything is Love” album page, followed by an also unexplained rose, before finally dropping a snippet that has what sounds like a couple of very familiar voices harmonizing while a rose blooms.

With the name “Rose IV You” attached and the only accounts following being Tidal, Kelly’s, and Beyoncé’s…it sounds very much like this may be a new project from the two OG Destiny’s Children.

“I’m so honored to celebrate you tonight,” said the recording superstar, the feathers on her gown fluttering in the light breeze. “Most people in this industry lead with their ego, but you lead with your heart. You’ve touched so many lives, mine included.”

She then launched into a powerful four-song set of “XO,” “Perfect,” “Ave Maria” and “Halo.”

A cast of 15 Broadway stars from shows such as Hamilton, Spring Awakening, and Waitress will sing completely new arrangements of the pop queen’s greatest hits (including selections from her recent Lemonade album), accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Sara Bareilles, Billy Joel, and Whitney Houston.

The lineup will include Alex Boniello (Spring Awakening), Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Alyssa Fox (Wicked), Amber Iman (Shuffle Along), Aisha Jackson (Waitress), Aaron LaVigne (Spider-Man), Corey Mach (Hands on a Hardbody), Jelani Remy (The Lion King), Ciara Reneé (Pippin), and Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture), with Alexa Green (Wicked), Bryna O’Neill, and Alexis Sims. More performers will be announced at a later date.

The concert will give tribute to this groundbreaking artist and her greatest songs, including “Love on Top”, “Irreplaceable”, “Single Ladies”, “Halo”, and a few selections from the Destiny’s Child catalog, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. The music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Broadway Sings Beyoncé, produced and directed by Corey Mach (Invisible Thread, Wicked), will celebrate the success and talent of this legendary, influential artist. More information about the series can be found online: www.broadwaysingsconcert.com or @BroadwaySings.
