The Carters Lead 2018 MTV VMAs Nominations

The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards nominations have been announced today. Cardi B leads the noms with 10, while The Carters follow with eight. Beyonce also scored one nomination for Eminem's "Walk on Water". Beginning today, fans can vote in eight of the categories. Voting concludes Friday, August 10. The VMAs will air live from Radio City Music Hall at 9 PM on Monday, August 20.

Beyonce Wins at the 2017 BET Awards

Beyoncé was the big winner Sunday at the 2017 BET Awards, taking a total of five trophies at the music-rich event in Los Angeles. She won for Female R&B/Pop Artist, Album Of The Year for Lemonade, and Viewers Choice, Video Director Of The Year and Video Of The Year for “Sorry,” the latter honor shared with Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.”

The singer may have skipped the BET Awards, but she still delivered a message to the crowd, as she asked her protégés Chloe x Halle to read her speech after winning the Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award for "Sorry."

"Thank you BET for this award and your tremendous support of Lemonade. This has been a journey of love, of celebrating our culture, honoring the past, and approaching the present and future with hope and resolve," the speech began. "Thank you to my mother Tina Knowles Lawson for being my biggest, biggest teacher and consistent influence. Thank you to my entire family for so much love."

Queen Bey also gave a shout-out to her supportive fans. "My BeyHive, for riding with me. I love and appreciate you," Chloe x Halle said, reading the note. "To everyone at the show tonight, you all look so beautiful and at home, thank you and have a wonderful, wonderful night. From, Beyonce."

The 2017 Much Music Video Award nominations were unveiled on Thursday, and Beyonce has been nominated for International Artist or Group. Voting is open now at muchmusic.com.

The MMVAs will be held at the Much Music headquarters in Toronto and will air live on June 18 on the CTV and Much channels.

The early winners for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, announced Sunday by dick clark productions, included Beyonce with five wins: Top Female Artist, Top R&B Album ("Lemonade"), Top Touring Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Tour.

The Billboard Music Awards will be held Sunday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where more awards will be announced. Beyonce can still win Top Billboard 200 Album ("Lemonade") and Top Artist!

The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) released the top films and television shows of 2016. Beyonce's "Lemonade" won the award for Best TV Show (Special/Limited Series)! It is no surprise that Beyoncé was the big winner at the 2016 Soul Train Awards.

The awards were handed out Nov. 6 in a recorded show that was broadcast last night on BET and Centric.

Queen Bey took home four awards: album of the year for "Lemonade;" best R&B soul/female artist; and song and video of the year, both for "Formation."
The 2016 American Music Awards were held Sunday night at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater. This year CAMERIMAGE Festival, The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography which takes place in Bydgoszcz, Poland, will present two remarkable films connected with the music video creativity.

The first is Beyoncé’s “LEMONADE”, the visual accompaniment to her 12-track sixth studio album and a portrayal of every woman’s journey of self-knowledge and healing.

The screening will tak place on November 13 at 12:15 p.m. an will be followed by a Q&A meeting with DPs Chayse Irvin and Malik Sayeed.

Additionally, Beyonce's "Formation" is nominated for Best Music Video and Best Cinematography in a Music Video. The winners will be announced during the Festival's Closing Ceremony on Saturday, November 21.
