Parkwood Holiday Party

December 16, 2016 Klaudia 0

On Thursday, Beyoncé hosted a holiday party for her record company, Parkwood Entertainment, at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in L.A. There was a screening of Lemonade (complete with popcorn featuring a silhouette of her in "Formation," and Lemonheads candy) and a full-blown exhibit of all Bey's Lemonade costumes. The singer took to the stage to perform "All Night"!

Ted Owen & Co. are proud to be offering a unique collection of 12 original professionally produced Betacam video tapes of Beyoncé Knowles. The collection of tapes document the earliest music video appearance of Girls Tyme showcasing and starring a then 10 year old Beyoncé Knowles.

The collection, dating from 1992, consists of approximately two and half hours of footage depicting Beyoncé playing to camera in several locations, working out dance routines, rehearsing for a live performance in addition to performing at an artists showcase in San Francisco. There is additional unedited footage of Beyoncé at the Record Plant recording studios in Sausalito California, working on dance routines for what was intended to be her first professionally recorded music video.

This recently unearthed and never seen original footage offers the viewer a candid insight into a 10 year old Beyoncé developing her craft that would ultimately make her the world's biggest pop stars. Read more...

Beyoncé will join Jay Z on Friday in Ohio at a get-out-the-vote concert for Hillary Clinton, a source who overheard the news told CBS News.

Clinton will be joined by the music superstars at a rally at Cleveland State University heading into the final weekend before Election Day. The Clinton campaign is making an aggressive push to urge Ohioans to vote early.

Jay Z’s appearance had already been announced.

But the addition of his wife Beyoncé, one of the biggest entertainers in the world, adds even more star power to the Cleveland event.

The concert is aimed at millennials and African-American voters in the Democratic stronghold of Cuyahoga County, where Clinton needs big margins on election night to defeat Donald Trump, who is leading the polls in Ohio.

The music megastars are among several acts -- including Katy Perry, The National and John Legend -- helping Clinton make a final appeal to young voters.

The Clinton campaign declined to comment on the appearance.
The Country Music Association has responded to allegations that they deleted footage and mentions of Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks‘ 2016 CMA Awards performance.

An outcry from fans began Thursday afternoon (Nov. 3), after some began to notice and share on social media that social media mentions and CMA website video of the two acts’ performance of Beyonce’s “Daddy Lessons” at Wednesday night’s (Nov. 2) 50th anniversary CMA Awards ceremony had been deleted. TMZ alleged that the deletions were due to racist and rude comments being posted, but the CMA says that the footage was removed at Beyonce’s request.

“Beyonce’s team hadn’t approved that, so we pulled it down,” CMA CEO Sarah Trahern tells the New York Times of a now-deleted promotional clip that teased Beyonce’s performance, adding that the clip was removed before the performance itself. “Fans can get kind of passionate and read other things into it.”

Additionally, Trahern explains, Beyonce provided her own photographer for the evening and only approved one official live video of the song, which is available on and has been shared on the CMA’s social media channels.

“CMA has not erased any mentions of Beyonce’s performance on the CMA Awards. In advance of the broadcast, CMA removed a five-second promotional clip from and CMA’s Facebook page. The promo was unapproved, and CMA removed it prior to the broadcast,” the CMA says in a statement to People, echoing Trahern’s comments. “Beyonce’s performance with Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening, and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels.” Read more...

Somewhat surprisingly, when Chris Martin first called Mars to ask if he'd perform with Coldplay at the 2016 halftime, he passed. "I told him I don't think so," Mars says. "I just felt like I'd just done it." Martin persisted, asking Mars to swing by the Malibu studio where he was working. "So I drove out there and he pitched it," Mars says. "'You and Beyoncé, doing "Uptown Funk" – I want to be responsible for giving that gift to the world.' That's what he said, in his sweet, charming, English way."

Mars was still skeptical. "You've got to be careful with those performances," he says. "They do it a lot on award shows, where you've got so many cameos but nothing solid." He told Martin to talk to Beyoncé and see what she thought. Martin's response: "'Let's talk to her right now!'" He took out his phone and shot a video of himself and Mars, then texted it to Beyoncé. To Mars' surprise, she was in.

Mars says he got an education watching Beyoncé prepare. "She's not fucking joking around," he says. "She's going to get onstage and show everybody why she's the best every single time. She's got that monster in her." But the memory that stands out is more relatable. "Me and Beyoncé were both working on our diets, stressing out," he says. "Then the day before, we're watching playback backstage, and she's eating a bag of Cheetos. I'm like, 'That's what you're doing?'"

He mimes Beyoncé popping a Cheeto in her mouth. "She's like, 'There's nothing more we can do these last two days. It's gonna be what it's gonna be. So I'm gonna enjoy this bag of Cheetos.'"
There are numerous music legends slated to perform at the 2016 CMA Awards, and now it appears to be official — Queen Bey will be hitting the stage.

Multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE that Beyoncé is currently in Nashville, which just happens to be where the CMAs will be airing from live tonight on ABC, and CMT reports that the star is set to perform at the show.

The Lemonade creator is not known as a country singer, but she wouldn’t be the first recording artists to cross genre lines at the CMAs. Justin Timberlake hit the stage with country star Chris Stapleton at the 2015 awards to perform their tracks “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Drink You Away.”

But what will Beyoncé perform?

A duet with one of the previously announced performers — of which there are many — is not out of the question. Or Queen Bey could do a solo performance of one of her originals. (Lemonade‘s country-twinged “Daddy Lessons”?) Or even a cover of a country classic.

If her recent Video Music Award performance is any indication, whatever Beyoncé would perform would be guaranteed to be what everyone is talking about tomorrow.

The 2016 CMAs airs live tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
