"At 36,
I became a new mother of 3.
I breastfed twins.
I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years.
I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy.
Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love.
And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it.
This year has been monumental for me.
I thank God for everyone in my life.
Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes.
I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future.
I love you, Hive.

OTR II show descends into chaos as dancers tackle stage invader

August 26, 2018

A Beyonce and Jay-Z concert ended in chaos on Saturday night after a stage invader managed to make to get within feet of the super stars as they walked off stage.

Video of the performance in Atlanta showed the invader casually make his way on to the stage from the audience, before rushing after the power couple; when the dancers realised what happened they rushed to the back of the stage moments to stop his tracks, before security guards also rushed the stage.

Many of the session musicians also on stage seem unaware of what is taking place below them, as they continue to perform.

In videos, shared by concertgoers at the venue, it appears that the invader is held down by security guards, however fans took to Twitter to ask where security was in the first place.

Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure confirmed via Instagram that the pair are fine.

‘Beyonce and JAY-Z on stage tonight in Atlanta. Thank you to all the fans for your concern,’ she wrote on Instagram, ‘they are fine and looking forward to the show tomorrow.’

There is additional unedited footage of Beyoncé at the Record Plant recording studios in Sausalito California, working on dance routines for what was intended to be her first professionally recorded music video.

This recently unearthed and never seen original footage offers the viewer a candid insight into a 10 year old Beyoncé developing her craft that would ultimately make her the world's biggest pop stars. Read more...

Perhaps you already know the premise of Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, an Iraq War movie based on the novel of the same name, which dramatizes the titular veteran’s experience with PTSD during a Cowboys game. Perhaps you’ve read about the controversy over Ang Lee’s decision to shoot the film with a remarkably high 120 fps frame rate, which has the effect of making all the actors look like plastic dolls. This is not a post about either of those things. This is a post about how Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk features a fake Beyoncé — and also a fake Kelly and Michelle. But more importantly: Fake. Beyoncé.

Fake Beyoncé plays a small, but crucial role within Billy Lynn’s narrative: Destiny’s Child is headlining the halftime show where Billy (Joe Alwyn) and the rest of his squadron are being honored. In the film’s central set piece, the soldiers march with the trio to the stage, and then assemble behind them for a performance of “Soldier.” This triggers a bunch of PTSD flashbacks for Billy and the rest of the gang. As fake Bey, Kelly, and Michelle perform, we cut back to a battle the soldiers fought Iraq. It’s all an indictment of American mid-2000s excess — do you get it? (If you don’t get it, there’s an earlier scene where Billy has a sex fantasy while Kellie Pickler sings the national anthem.) Read more...
Yesterday "Lemonade" was screened during the 2016 Camerimage Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The screening was followed by a Q&A with Chayse Irvin and Malik Sayeed, the cinematographers behind the movie. As promised, you can watch the entire interview exclusively on BeyonceOnline.org!

If you don’t know what the Mannequin Challenge is, let Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams teach you all about it. On Monday, Kelly shared Destiny’s Child’s take on what the cool kids have been doing on the Internet as of late. The premise is simple: stop whatever it is you’re doing and freeze while someone goes around filming you and your friends. Have some music playing in the background. The popular choice seems to be Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” but Beyoncé and company opted for Lauryn Hill’s “Every Ghetto, Every City.” Anything works, really!

It seems that Laverne Cox won herself more than a few admirers after channelling Beyonce on Lip Sync Battle – including the lady herself.

In fact, Beyonce was so impressed by the Orange Is The New Black’s star’s tribute to her on the Spike show that she even sent her flowers to show her appreciation.

Which a clearly thrilled Laverne didn’t hesitate to show off on social media.

She wrote on Instagram: "When you are at work on #Doubt your new cbs legal drama premiering in 2017 and get flowers and a hand written card from the Queen Bey herself @beyonce. Thank you Beyonce for such a thoughtful gesture. You didn't have to but it means so much that you did. I am so happy you enjoyed the #LipSyncBattle tribute to Destiny's Child. You know I live for everything you do. EVERYTHING!! Thank you, thank you thank you!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you @dreamadew for thinking to take photos to document my utter shock and disbelief moments after opening the card. Thank you @farmercarla and @theladydeja for holding me up so I didn't fall to the floor as I lost control of my body. Thank you water proof mascara for keeping this makeup in tact cause I have to head back to set soon. Thank you @spikelsb for making this happen Wow, what a day! God is GOOD!!"

Laverne showed off her inner Queen Bey on last week’s instalment of the show in the US, going head to head with her Orange Is The New Black co-star Samira Wiley as she performed Destiny’s Child classic Lose My Breath. Read more...
