Beyoncé Shares 'Act II: Cowboy Carter' Tracklist

Klaudia//March 28, 2024
Beyoncé may be gearing up to release her first country music album, but this is not the pop superstar's first rodeo.

In anticipation of this Friday's release of her new album, Act II: Cowboy Carter, Queen Bey, 42, got fans excited by teasing the tracklist on Wednesday. The Grammy winner revealed the song titles with a post on Instagram, which subtly announced that the record is set to feature a cover of Dolly Parton's classic song "Jolene."

Beyoncé shared the tracklist by posting an image resembling a vintage concert poster, made to look like "Cowboy Carter" was the headliner and the titles listed below were members of her "Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit." The song names appeared alongside images of the hitmaker, and the bottom of the flyer teased, "Brought to you by KNTRY Radio Texas."

Beyonce shares message about "Cowboy Carter"

Klaudia//March 19, 2024
Beyonce shared a message about her upcoming album "Cowboy Carter".

"Today marks the 10-day countdown until the release of act ii. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the supporters of TEXAS HOLD ‘EM and 16 CARRIAGES. I feel honored to be the first Black woman with the number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart. That would not have happened without the outpouring of support from each and every one of you. My hope is that years from now, the mention of an artist’s race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant.

This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history.

The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me. act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.

Beyonce on the launch of Cécred

Klaudia//February 22, 2024
Beyonce posted about the launch of Cécred on her Instagram:

"Hair and the deeply personal story it plays in life has always been sacred to me. Haircare is a ritual that feeds the soul and I’m so excited to share it with you. Exclusively available at cecred.com"

The singer also shared a message on the Cécred website:

"I grew up sweeping hair in my mother's salon. So much of who I am came from there. I saw how she transformed hair by mixing mainstream products with textured haircare.

It’s been my lifelong dream to create these hair products and bring some of my mother’s teachings to life. We started by prioritizing the needs of textured hair like mine and others who lack moisture and strength. It was important to honor past rituals while infusing our personal touch by adding advanced science to build new sacred rituals. The result was haircare defined by its performance, quality, and intention. Haircare that isn’t put into the same box others have tried to put me in as a Black woman throughout my career. Haircare that will keep my hair healthy despite how often I change it up as a performer—the coloring, high-tension styles, sewing, sweat, and buildup.

I built Cécred from the ground up. I poured into it everything I’ve learned throughout my life so we can borrow some of our past and bring it to the future. Cécred is about prioritizing yourself and all the things you hold sacred."

Beyoncé Surprises Fans at Brazil 'Renaissance' Film Premiere

Klaudia//December 24, 2023
The Renaissance is far from over. On Thursday (Dec. 21), Beyoncé made a grand return to Brazil to celebrate the premiere of her Renaissance documentary concert film in a slew of new international territories, marking her first visit to the country in a decade.

Queen Bey had days earlier shared on Instagram the latest KNTY 4 News update: Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé would premiere in 15 new countries, including Brazil, on Dec. 21. “Y’all didn’t have to break my website,” she said in a voiceover. “But I told y’all, the renaissance is not over.”

To celebrate the film’s release around the world, Parkwood Entertainment and TV Globo teamed up to co-sponsor an event in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Fan-captured footage shows what appears to be a replica of the Renaissance World Tour stage and exclusive Club Renaissance merchandise.

Beyoncé teased her arrival in Brazil with a cheeky meme of the Renaissance disco horse — nicknamed Reneigh by fans — peeking out of a private jet. Sure enough, the music icon surprised fans with her first public appearance in Brazil in 10 years. She last visited the country during her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour back in 2013.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z rent bus for private tour of NYC with kids

Klaudia//December 21, 2023
Beyoncé and Jay-Z had an empire state of mind Wednesday when they rented out an entire bus for a private family tour of New York City.

The “Halo” songstress, 42, and the New York native were seen smiling from inside a Tea Around Town tour bus as they took in the holiday decor across the Big Apple.

Beyoncé wore a black top with a matching head wrap and sunglasses while daughter Blue Ivy smiled in a white sweater.

The rapper’s mother, Gloria Carter, also shined on the second floor of the pink double-decker bus, wearing an all-yellow outfit and a matching yellow fascinator.

The couple enjoyed the festive sightseeing alongside their children and other family members, making sure to hit holiday hot spots such as Rockefeller Center’s iconic Christmas tree and Saks Fifth Avenue’s over-the-top window decorations.

The family of five even made their way around Times Square and Bryant Park during their daytime tour.

BeyHive Crashes Beyoncé Website Over… 'Renaissance' Film International Release Dates

Klaudia//December 19, 2023
The BeyHive were convinced that the visual drought of Beyoncé’s Renaissance era was finally coming to an end. On Monday evening, update accounts shared screenshots showing that the musician’s official website had been down for a number of hours, prompting fans to believe that a special announcement was coming. But it was only a false alarm. They had, in fact, crashed the website — only for the grand reveal to be the next set of countries in which the Renaissance tour film will be released.

“Okay, okay. Y’all didn’t have to break my website,” Beyoncé said in a trailer announcing the 15 additional countries where the film will be screened. “But I told y’all, the renaissance is not over.”

This weekend, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will be released in theaters throughout Brazil, Spain, Italy, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, Hungary, Andorra, Romania, Bulgaria, Mongolia, and Taiwan.
