Beyoncé shares her #cecredwashday ritual

Klaudia//April 22, 2024
Beyoncé shared her #cecredwashday ritual on Instagram. She wrote:

"It has been such a special experience seeing all of your #cecredwashday rituals all over my timeline… I just had to join in with something I had in the archives 🥰

Being disruptive and challenging everything people feel should be the process has always been exciting to me. My hair and music seemed to do that a lot over the years…

Maintaining 25 years of blonde on natural hair through all the experimenting I do has played a huge part in developing @cecred’s products. It’s the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but @cecred is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts. Congratulations to the entire CÉCRED team for contributing to developing award-winning products. 💕

Happy #cecredwashday!

You are CÉCRED."

Beyoncé Supports Figure Skating in Harlem

Klaudia//April 18, 2018
Beyoncé has amped up the visibility of her philanthropic work after her historic Coachella performance. On Monday, the singer revealed that she would be donating $100,000 of scholarship funds to HBCUs. The four schools included Xavier University, Wilberforce University, Bethune-Cookman University and Tuskegee University.

Bey is now using her activewear brand IVY PARK to help to empower young female figure skaters through the organization Figure Skating in Harlem. Through the collaboration, the young girls were gifted with product from the line to help encourage them to continue on in their sport.

FSHarlem was started by Sharon Cohen in 1997 as a means to give girls in the New York City community a space to participate. Figure skating can often times be exclusive to people of a certain class and demographics. Cohen believed that the discipline required to partake in figure skating would help to foster the tools needed to succeed in school and through college.

As a part of the campaign, the FSHarlem girls modeled the Spring line in a short film. Cohen says they were “in shock” when she revealed that they would be working for the pop star.

“Beyoncé is a fierce, authentically powerful woman of color. She inspires young women and girls globally who look just like her to do the exact same—to be fearless, free, and proud of themselves,” Cohen told Vogue.

In a newsletter posted by Figure Skating Harlem, it is stated that Bey and the organization share the same values: Confidence, Determination and Success! Together we have collaborated to inspire girls everywhere to be their very best!
