Beyoncé, Usher, Madonna & More Bid Farewell To Oprah
The likes of Beyoncé, Usher and Madonna joined US TV legend Oprah Winfrey to bid farewell to her iconic chat show last night. Winfrey, who announced in November 2009 that she would be ending her talk show, claimed she was "beyond joyous" after a whole host of Hollywood A-listers turned up to surprise her at the recording of her last ever three shows in Chicago. As well as Queen B, Usher and Madge, Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes, Alicia Keys, Halle Berry and Will Smith also turned up to pay homage to Oprah in front of a 20,000 strong audience. Beyoncé took to the stage to perform her new single Run The World (Girls) for Oprah, wearing hotpants and a sexy tuxedo, complete with bow-tie. The ex-Destiny's Child singer said of Oprah: "Oprah Winfrey, because of you, women everywhere have graduated to a new level of understanding of what we are, who we are, and who we can be ... We can run the world!'" The final three episodes of The Oprah Winfrey Show will air in America next week.
