Beyonce's GRAMMY Performance May Include Actresses

Klaudia//February 11, 2017
GRAMMY Award show producers are staying coy on what exactly will happen when Beyonce hits the stage on Sunday, but here's what we do know.

ET has learned that Beyonce's performance might include the singer dressed in gold and appearing on a giant turntable. The theme might be the diva's journey and evolution from child performer to superstar with actresses playing her at different stages of her life.

"Whenever she comes, she brings it," executive producer Ken Ehrlich told ET's Kevin Frazier. "Let's hope that -- if that happens -- it'll be pretty amazing."

The GRAMMY winner isn't expected to do any high-flying acrobatics or over-the-top stunts, considering that she is pregnant with twins, but Ehrlich said that her growing baby bump adds an extra glow that could make for an extra special performance.

"It's the glory of motherhood. She looks more radiant than ever," Ehrlich said. "She looks so beautiful."

Beyonce Sent a Gift to Olivia Wilde's Son

Klaudia//January 14, 2017
Beyonce made one two-year-old boy's dreams come true.

Olivia Wild and Jason Sudeikis' son, Otis, is already a big Queen Bey fan, and upon hearing about her little admirer, the 35-year-old singer sent him a gift.

While on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, Sudeikis shared that while Otis has yet to meet Beyonce, she did send him "a signed photo for his second birthday," which the 41-year-old actor admitted was "pretty adorable."

"His 2nd birthday was a Beyonce-themed party," Sudeikis told host Andy Cohen. "It was great."

Back in March, Wilde also talked about her son's fondness for Bey on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "His love for Beyonce has really hit a fever pitch, and I approve of course, but it's intense," she quipped. "He is absolutely in love with her."

Bruno Mars Talks Super Bowl Performance With Beyonce

Klaudia//November 2, 2016
Somewhat surprisingly, when Chris Martin first called Mars to ask if he'd perform with Coldplay at the 2016 halftime, he passed. "I told him I don't think so," Mars says. "I just felt like I'd just done it." Martin persisted, asking Mars to swing by the Malibu studio where he was working. "So I drove out there and he pitched it," Mars says. "'You and Beyoncé, doing "Uptown Funk" – I want to be responsible for giving that gift to the world.' That's what he said, in his sweet, charming, English way."

Mars was still skeptical. "You've got to be careful with those performances," he says. "They do it a lot on award shows, where you've got so many cameos but nothing solid." He told Martin to talk to Beyoncé and see what she thought. Martin's response: "'Let's talk to her right now!'" He took out his phone and shot a video of himself and Mars, then texted it to Beyoncé. To Mars' surprise, she was in.

Mars says he got an education watching Beyoncé prepare. "She's not fucking joking around," he says. "She's going to get onstage and show everybody why she's the best every single time. She's got that monster in her." But the memory that stands out is more relatable. "Me and Beyoncé were both working on our diets, stressing out," he says. "Then the day before, we're watching playback backstage, and she's eating a bag of Cheetos. I'm like, 'That's what you're doing?'"

He mimes Beyoncé popping a Cheeto in her mouth. "She's like, 'There's nothing more we can do these last two days. It's gonna be what it's gonna be. So I'm gonna enjoy this bag of Cheetos.'"

Beyoncé Says Adele Is "The Most Humble Human Being"

Klaudia//November 1, 2016
In a new Vanity Fair cover story, Adele opens up about her idols: Beyoncé, Stevie Nicks, and Better Midler. Each of the women also commented for the story, expressing their admiration for the British soul star.

In the piece, Adele mentions that Beyoncé has been a big part of her musical life since the age of 11, when she heard "No, No, No" by Destiny's Child. "She’s my Michael Jackson,” Adele told Vanity Fair. Beyoncé offered her own kind words for Adele: “When Adele sings you can hear that it’s coming from an unfiltered honesty and purity. She creates songs that go deep and expose pain and vulnerability with her soulful voice. She takes you places other artists don’t go to anymore—the way they did in the ‘70s.”

“It is so easy to talk to her and be around her. She’s funny as hell and her comebacks are legendary. The most beautiful thing about Adele is that she has her priorities straight. She is a gracious woman and the most humble human being I’ve ever met.”

Hillary Clinton Visits Beyonce Music Video Set

Klaudia//March 30, 2016
UPDATE: Hillary Clinton's spokesperson denied the news.

Hillary Clinton recently paid a visit to the Queen … Bey, that is!

"Beyonce was filming a video and Hillary made a surprise visit to the set" on Thursday, March 24, in L.A., a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly.

The insider could not reveal if the Democratic front-runner, 68, scored an on-screen cameo, but a second insider confirms Beyonce, 34, is currently working on an album, complete with music videos. (The album is likely to drop in April.)

By the next morning, Clinton had returned to the campaign trail, setting her sights on the goal she laid out in December.

"I want to be as good a president as Beyonce is a performer," she said when asked at an Iowa town hall if she'd rather be Beyonce or president.

No doubt securing a permanent spot in the hive, the presidential hopeful had high praise for the pop star at the event: "You see her on TV, it's impressive; you see her in person, you're just stunned. Thinking like, ‘How does she do that?’ Really. I mean, she's singing, she's up and she's down. She's just amazing."

The admiration is mutual. Last May, Beyonce attended a Hillary Clinton fundraiser event in NYC. Although the mom of Blue Ivy, 4, with husband Jay Z supported Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential races, now she wants her girl Hillary to run the world.

Meghan Trainor: 'Beyonce Likes My Song!'

Klaudia//December 15, 2014
Meghan Trainor’s ode to curves, “All About That Bass,” has a fan in Beyonce Knowles, who knows about being Bootylicious.

Speaking on the red carpet at the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York, Trainor revealed that she had received a private note from Beyonce requesting a meeting. “She messaged me and sent me a very nice message saying she thought I was cute and sweet and that she wants to meet me,” Trainor said.

Trainor got her opportunity at the Billboard Women in Music gala in New York on Dec. 12, when Beyonce made a beeline to the singer to compliment her music.

“She told me she likes dancing to my song!,” said Trainor excitedly. “I love her so much and she’s perfect in real life.”

Although Trainor’s music inspires much booty shaking, moving and singing at the same time is not her forte. “I’m tired when dancing at the same time,” she said. “’I’m not Beyonce.”

Drake Reveals He Is Writing For Beyonce's Album

Klaudia//September 24, 2013
Drake sat down with Elliot Wilson on Sunday, September 22, at New York University for the latest installment of Wilson's #CRWN series.

Drizzy opened up about Aaliyah, Beyonce, Degrassi, Twitter, his mom, the Wu Tang Clan and his writing style.

He revealed that he's been writing material for Beyonce's upcoming album, that "Pound Cake" came from a studio session with Mrs Carter and spoke on his overall respect for the singer.

"Beyonce is the voice of all females in life."

In related news, Justin Timberlake recently talked about his friendship with Beyonce and Jay and hanging out with them after their concert in New York.

“I did get both of them standing on a couch. Me and my wife get along with them so well. For all the stuff that surrounds us, they’re so normal and just nice people. They’re just good people, my kinda people.”

Coach K shares his Beyonce story

Klaudia//September 13, 2013

Thanks to a 2011 national championship -- the fourth of his career -- and leading Team USA to two consecutive gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, Mike Krzyzewski has really loosened up as he's cruised into his 60s. This is a good thing for everyone, but a really great thing today. Here's why.

In this video we've got K holding court in a public way unlike anything most have seen or heard before. The original video was curiously scrubbed from YouTube late Tuesday, so the backup has audio that's tougher to hear. K's story mostly involves Jay Z and Beyonce, but really is all about his massive (understandable, evolutionarily correct) crush on the one the cool kids call "Bey."

"I'm always looking for street cred," Kryzewski said to the horde of Duke students who were camped out -- on the second football weekend of 2013 -- for basketball tickets. "That's why I'm doing the United States team again."

Krzyzewski then shared a story from last November about when he introduced LeBron James at Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year dinner. He was in the front row and noticed two empty seats next to him. Vexed, he wondered how anyone could be late or absent to such a huge event.

Then, in strolls modern music's most powerful couple.

"I really love Jay Z, but I'm madly in love with Beyonce," Kryzewski said.

MS MR want to write song for Beyoncé

Klaudia//August 28, 2013
MS MR have admitted that they want to write a track for Beyoncé's new album.

The duo revealed that they will be working with other artists following the release of their debut album Secondhand Rapture earlier this year.

Talking to Digital Spy following their Reading Festival set over the weekend, Max Hershenow said: "We love Beyoncé. We're label mates and you'd think we'd be hanging out at all of the Columbia meetings, but she doesn't come.

"I think she's taking a more alternative route. I think she's evolving towards our direction."

Kelly Rowland: Beyonce is a slob!

Klaudia//June 26, 2013
Only your best friend can lay bare your not-so-good side without any malice or ill intent.

Such is the case with former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland who says her BFF Beyonce Knowles has a problem with keeping a clean house.

During a segment of "Plead the Fifth" on Andy Cohen's Bravo show Watch What Happens Live, the host asked Rowland to dish on her seemingly perfect friend's most annoying trait.

Without missing a beat, Rowland replied with a laugh, "She would tell you this. She's a slob."

She added that Beyonce's aversion to tidiness is a result of being a busy multi-hyphenate superstar.

"If you walk in (there's a mess) -- maybe she's gotten better since becoming a mother -- but she's got a lot on her brain. You can tell she's got a lot going on."

The-Dream, Eve and Kelly Rowland Defend Beyonce

Klaudia//April 3, 2013
Today The-Dream appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show and talked about Keyshia Cole dissing Beyonce's song "Bow Down."

When DJ Envy asked him about how artists beefing affects his work as a writer, and Cole’s name was brought up. Dream was not ashamed to admit that Keyshia and her veneers won’t be seeing ink from his pen anytime soon. “Right now because of what happened, I can’t. I think she would respect why I can’t,” the songwriter said. “ have a grown-up conversation, like ‘Yo you talkin’ ’bout my family.’ Like, you can’t do that.”

A few days earlier, Eve also defended the singer. “Beyoncé is on such a level that she doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone at all,” she told Radio.com. “That’s why some people don’t like that record. If you listen to the lyrics and some of the things she’s saying, she definitely is coming at some specific person, which is ‘Why do you even care.’ But at the same time, she’s a bossy b****. Do it.”

The rapper applauds Beyonce’s artistic expression. “Let artists make the music they feel like making,” she said. “We all know who she is…She’s having fun. Why not?”

Another person who stood up for the song was Kelly Rowland: "I've heard pieces of what she's done. She's heard things that I've recorded and I just think it scratches the surface to everything else. I think it's a great record ("Bow Down"). It's her expression. I think, as an artist, you can express yourself however you want to and I just can't wait for everybody to hear the rest of the record. It is insane."

John Legend on teaming up with Beyonce

Klaudia//March 28, 2013
John Legend talks about teaming up with Beyoncé to headline Chime For Change gig at London's Twickenham Stadium.

Talking to The Huffington Post UK in London about the line-up, the 'Ordinary People' singer said: "It's a pretty dynamic group of people and I'm proud to be part of it."

"We have a very high mutual respect for each other," says Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend about Beyoncé, whom he's teaming up with for a huge London concert.

Legend, who is on the same record label as Beyoncé and says he knows her "socially", confessed he would love to duet with her on stage at the show. With an impressive back catalogue between them, what would they sing?
"I don't know, I'll have to talk to Mrs Carter about that," he laughs.

According to Legend "it makes perfect sense" to stage the concert in London. "Why not London? London knows how to throw a good party, as the Olympics proved recently, and it's such an international city that's connected to so many of the cities we want to work in."

Former Destiny's Child members praise Beyonce's show

Klaudia//February 5, 2013
Millions of fans cheered on Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams during their Destiny's Child reunion at Sunday's Super Bowl. But there are a few particular fans who are making sure everyone knows they're team players, even if they were off the team long ago.

LaTavia Roberson, who was part of Destiny's Child in its first incarnation, said she had nothing but love for the ladies.

"Obviously, seeing Beyonce perform was the highlight for me," Roberson told Celebuzz on Monday. "I got a real surprise when both Kelly and Michelle both popped up on the stage like that."

"Hats off to Bee's halftime show! She murdered it!!!!" Roberson tweeted Monday.

She added that she was "pleased" with the performance she couldn't be a part of.

"I thought they all looked great and did a good job with their dance moves," she added. "Beyonce was especially amazing. She looked fabulous, and her voice was really strong. During the performance somebody texted me to say they could not hear Kelly and Michelle sing. It was so noisy in the house where we watched the performance that I did not really notice anything wrong. But who knows? They probably had some technical problems."
