Beyonce's husband Jay-Z loves it when the singer wears flat shoes. The 'Love On Top' hitmaker - who was recently named People Magazine's 'Most Beautiful Woman' - has had to ditch her heels since welcoming baby daughter Blue, much to her husband's delight. She said: "I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels. "Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love them because they're comfortable, and shorter heels too. " loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising - he never saw me in flats before! He likes me more natural - just he relaxed, natural me." The down-to-earth first-time mother also reveals she shuns expensive stylists in favour of a bit of DIY when it comes to her hair. She told People Magazine: "I recently cut two inches myself - I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh!" Having lost the majority of the baby-weight through breastfeeding, the singer is now working out three times a week and has embarked on a protein-based diet to help get her toned body back. She added: "I'm definitely softer, but I feel my body bouncing back."

This marks the ninth time the pop superstar singer and actress has made the coveted list. Beyoncé has given her first interview since the birth of her baby Blue Ivy Carter, revealing that words can't describe how it feels to finally be a mum. Queen B, who welcomed Blue Ivy to the world on Saturday 7th January, also confirmed that hubby Jay-Z was with her throughout the birth at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital. Speaking to Star magazine, Bey admitted: "Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can’t be found, "It's an old cliche that the thing expectant moms look forward to the most is holding their child in their arms for the first time, but it's one of those cliche that is a real truth." When asked about Jigga, the Love On Top singer said: "He would not have missed it for anything. He is a very protective and loyal guy by nature. "He is a very protective husband, and since we found out I was pregnant I have seen the protective father in him. He is not only an inspirational artist, he is an inspirational husband. I know the next step on his journey is going to be being an inspirational father." The 30-year added that Jay is not afraid to get his hands dirty when it comes to their daughter, stating: "He will change diapers, of course he will. He is going to be a very hands-on father. He has already said publicly that providing isn’t love. Love is being there. Love is doing the little things for your child." Beyoncé then confessed she couldn't wait to bring Blue Ivy home from the hospital, claiming: "I am so excited. From the time I knew I was pregnant we have been parents. A child is the greatest gift you can receive, and we are so excited and blessed to be in this situation.

Whether she’s glammed up on the red carpet or dressed down for a shopping trip, one of Beyoncé‘s most enviable accessories is her glowing, luminous skin. So what’s the mommy-to-be‘s secret to beauty? “She’s ahead of the game and willing to try new things,” her longtime makeup artist Mally Roncal (left) tells PEOPLE. “What’s old is new again with her. She’s so experimental and is such a true artist.” And now that Beyoncé is pregnant with her first child, Roncal, who most recently did the singer’s make-up with the Mally “My Favorite Things” kit (available on QVC.com) for her 20/20 interview, plays up her natural glow. “She’s the most beautiful pregnant person I’ve ever seen in my life,” the makeup artist shares. “ she really just wanted to look healthy, glowy and natural but with that hint of glamour.” To get Beyoncé’s glam but understated 20/20 look, use the kit’s “Firework” eye shadow all over the lids, followed by the “Twilight” eye shadow in the crease of the eyes and the “Purple Rain” eye shadow across the lash line. “I like to play with color on her to add interest and draw attention to her eyes,” Roncal says. “But the key is to always blend properly so that you don’t see any harsh lines. That really adds to the healthy glow of the skin.” The makeup artist also used two different eyeliners on Beyoncé, and finished the look with the “Fuzzy Navel” lip gloss. “It’s this gorgeous, soft peach ,” Roncal explains, “and not only did go crazy but Katie Couric was like, ‘Oh my god, I have to have it!’”
