BeyGOOD Celebrates A Decade Of Good Along The Renaissance World Tour

Klaudia//April 21, 2023
BeyGOOD, the initiative founded by global cultural icon, Beyoncé, in 2013, to support people and programs around the world, is now BeyGOOD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity.

The entertainer, who made history recently as the artist with the most Grammy wins, founded the former initiative to make a difference in communities along the 2013/2014 Mrs. Carter World Tour. Ten years later, BeyGOOD has focused on a wide range of issues including education, disaster relief, food, water and housing scarcity, mental health, and career development in the United States, Africa, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.

With the global public health crisis in 2020, the uncertainty of many small businesses and the growing need for economic support in communities, Beyoncé established the Black Parade Route to highlight and support Black-owned small businesses in the US and abroad. More than 900 small businesses were provided with grants and/or highlighted on socials.

"I am hugely proud of the work we have done over a decade at BeyGOOD, here in the US and around the world," said BeyGOOD founder, Beyoncé. "From scholarships to the water crisis in Burundi, to helping families during Hurricane Harvey in my hometown, Houston, it has been beyond fulfilling to be of service. Now as a foundation, we will continue the work of engaging partners through innovative programs to impact even more people."

The Renaissance World Tour will be 41-year-old Bey’s first solo world tour since her 2016 Formation World Tour and is due to kick off next month in Stockholm.

She will take in dates across Europe, the UK, and North America - seeing her performing through to the end of September.

And while tickets have controversially cost thousands for fans to snap up, it seems no expense is being spared in preparation for the live dates.

According to The Sun, Bey is currently hard at work in France perfecting her dance moves and set manoeuvres.

The Halo singer has booked out the La Defense Arena in Paris to use as her practice ground - with the stadium twice the size of London’s O2 arena and capable of seating 40,000 fans.

Beyoncé's former dancers hankering to get on her upcoming tour

Klaudia//February 4, 2023
Beyoncé has announced her first tour since 2018 — and while fans are thrilled, some of her former dancers might be sweating.

“With a world tour comes a whole new staff and that includes the dancers, bandmates and backup singers. It’s out with the old and in with the new,” pointed out one insider.

“Her last tour was the ‘On The Run Tour II’ back in 2018 with Jay-Z. So she will be sure to deliver– but with a new tour comes a brand new staff so she has been auditioning a whole new team.”

The diva’s “Renaissance” tour will kick off its North American leg on July 8 in Toronto, we previously reported, with subsequent stops in US cities including Chicago, New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and New Orleans, among others..

“The old dancers are free to audition once again to regain their spots but Beyoncé will be more open to fresh new young talent taking on the reigns,” said an entrainment source.

“She is looking for young women and men — and also a few new band members as well — to take on the new positions on her team.”

Beyoncé has added seven extra North American dates to her ‘Renaissance’ world tour.

BeyGOOD Launching Black Parade Route During Renaissance World Tour

Klaudia//February 4, 2023
As with previous tours, Beyoncé will make her mark offstage, too, with BeyGOOD, the initiative she founded in 2013 to support people and programs around the world. BeyGOOD will continue its legacy of philanthropy, building out this focus on economic equity by supporting organizations that serve marginalized and underserved communities with access to scholarships, opportunities for internships that lead to job placement, and resources to support entrepreneurship.

In various cities throughout the tour, BeyGOOD will support entrepreneurs through Black Parade Route luncheons, celebrating small business owners, with grant opportunities being awarded and a foray of services with global partners to promote business sustainability. One thousand small businesses will be supported with a commitment totaling one million dollars.

BeyGOOD will also support students through scholarship funds that will be given to colleges and universities in ten different cities along the tour. Each school will be given one hundred thousand dollars and will select the student recipients. BeyGOOD’s total scholarship commitment during RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will be one million dollars.

Working with Beyoncé and the BeyGOOD Foundation, Citi and Verizon will purchase 100 tickets combined in each market across the U.S. touring leg for distribution to local community initiatives.

A noted partner with Beyoncé, Tiffany & Co. is the official jeweler of RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR. Beyonce's strict rules for her crew during upcoming world tour revealed

Klaudia//December 12, 2022
SINCE she announced her tour earlier this year, Beyonce has given very little away about her upcoming shows.

But The Sun can now reveal that the Break My Soul singer has been busy behind closed doors getting her team in Formation.

And to make sure her band, dancers and crew are on top of their game for the duration of next year’s Renaissance tour, Queen Bey wants a strict no booze or drugs policy.

She is also conducting strict #MeToo checks with every member of staff to create a safe working environment.

A well-placed mole tells me: “Bey knows the new performances will require intense choreography and precision, so everyone has to be clean and sober.

“There won’t be any crazy partying on the road either.

“She is also carrying out #MeToo checks with the dancers, band and crew with hopes doing so will make the tour a safe and friendly work environment.

Beyonce is reportedly planning secret pop-up shows in the UK

Klaudia//June 17, 2022
Beyonce’s new album Renaissance promises to be ‘dramatic’ with the singer using the pandemic and her marriage as inspiration, Metro.co.uk can exclusively reveal.

The Beyhive woke up to twerk-worthy news on Thursday with Beyonce finally confirming the arrival of her new music.

Renaissance, her seventh studio album, will be a two-part project with Act I set for release on July 29 and available on various streaming services, with Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal among those promoting the news on their platforms.

It’s set to become Beyonce’s first album in six years following the release of the Grammy-nominated visual album Lemonade in 2016, and is expected to precede a set of pop-up shows across the UK this summer.

In an interview last year, the 40-year-old singer explained how she used the Covid lockdowns as an excuse to hone in on writing the album, and now an insider has revealed exactly what we can expect from the new era of Beyonce.

A source told us: ‘She played some of the new records for some friends and the consensus is that it’s her happiest body of work to date.

‘It’s a natural continuation from her last two records because she wrote them out of her desire to find peace in the world and in her marriage. She is in a place where she feels like that is possible, and wrote songs which reflect where she is with her faith as a Christian.’

Pollstar Awards Laud Beyonce as Touring Artist of the Decade

Klaudia//June 17, 2021
With almost no tours having been undertaken in the past year, the Pollstar Awards pivoted in two different directions for the 31st annual edition of the show held Wednesday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel ballroom. One shift in focus was to deliver awards to the top touring artists of the last decade, instead of the year, in different genres. Another was to give out possibly one-time-only awards that were specific to 2020-21, but focus on artists and execs who were innovators, either in finding different ways to perform live or who made a difference philanthropically.

Beyonce won as the top touring artist of the decade. Rob Light, CAA’s head of music, accepted on her behalf and read a statement from the singer in which she wrote, “2020 has taught all of us that the touring community needs to be cherished and is the backbone of our industry.” Beyond thanking a list of cohorts that included Jay-Z, “my ride-or-die,” she gave a shout-out to her ticket-buying fans: “You sing all the choruses, you go hard on the choreo, and I see you every night.”
