While no one could ever upstage Beyoncé and Jay-Z, together for the first time in an ad campaign for Tiffany & Co., it’s fair to say there is a third star in the spots: a never-before-seen painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat in the jeweler’s signature robin egg blue.

Tiffany recently acquired the spectacular artwork, which had been in the possession of a private collector since the early 1980s, adding another surprise and layer of storytelling to a vast, yet nuanced advertising effort, which is to break in print next month.

Now controlled by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Tiffany is putting major firepower behind the yearlong campaign featuring the Carters, which includes a short film that depicts Beyoncé singing “Moon River” to her husband. It’s destined for major exposure in the coming months, including a takeover of all the digital billboards in New York’s Times Square.

Unveiling the first campaign image exclusively to WWD, Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany’s executive vice president of products and communications, also told the back story of the project in his first sit-down interview since joining the historic New York jeweler last January.

Beyonce was spotted arriving at a heliport in The Hamptons on Tuesday.

Fresh off of a swimsuit collection, Adidas and Ivy Park have revealed a new capsule themed on denim. The effort was introduced with a campaign featuring Emmy-Award wining actor Glynn Turman, who is also an accomplished horseman who has successfully competed in multiple rodeos.

While there aren’t a lot of details on what’s in the upcoming drop, the visual shows Turman and a female model wearing a denim jacket and jeans detailed with Adidas’ trademark three white stripes on he arm and leg plus a logo-covered denim shirt. Preview images also show a denim bucket cap, among others.

Beyoncé‘s IVY PARK has once again teamed up with adidas on a new sneaker. Following last year’s Supersleek 72, the duo has decided to supersize the silhouette.

Officially dubbed the Super Super Sleek, the footwear style arrives in white and beige iterations. Both pairs feature a base crafted from leather and twill material, while the tongues come in a larger dimension. Elsewhere, the sole unit boasts an exaggerated, chunky design made of translucent rubber. Rounding out the pairs is the IVY PARK key tag, which can be attached to any part of the shoe.

The “Crazy In Love” singer took her mini-me to the world famous shop, located in Manhattan, while the store was closing to the public. Bey wore a yellow midi dress with a blue cardigan and strappy green heels for the private shopping outing. Her daughter donned a white tank top, dark jeans, and white sneakers, as she pulled her braided her back into two pigtails and secured them with pink bows. The pair stayed for over an hour as they wandered around the store while their security guards kept a watchful eye.
