Beyoncé To Release "Live At Roseland" DVD Next Month

Klaudia//October 27, 2011
When Beyoncé took the stage back in August for four electrifying nights at the famed Roseland Ballroom, only 3,500 lucky fans per night, who bought those tickets in a record 22 seconds, were able to catch the intimate shows in the historic New York venue where she managed to turn a club into a coliseum. Praised as “robust,” “finely-tuned,” and “compelling” by The New York Times, “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé” at Roseland Ballroom, was a tour de force for the entertainer. It was the only time she would perform her new album, 4, almost completely and to a very limited audience. Backed by her all-female band, with an additional string section, the performances were punctuated with spirited stories detailing her journey before the album, 4, including her years before and with Destiny’s Child. On Monday, November 21, just in time for Thanksgiving, fans who longed to be at those shows can get up close and personal with Beyoncé and experience for themselves the energy and magic that filled the Ballroom with the release of Live At Roseland, exclusively at Walmart. The 26-song live DVD brings the quaint setting turn stadium performances to your living room. And on Tuesday, November 29, Live At Roseland: The Elements Of 4 deluxe package, a two-disc DVD, with the complete concert, bonus offstage footage, a 20-page booklet and a video anthology that includes seven videos from her latest album, 4, will be released worldwide. The concert documentary is filled with never-before seen footage that captures Beyoncé’s life from eager five-year-old music fan to a consummate entertainer who is in control of every inch of her life and career. In advance of the DVD’s release, the new video for “Party,” included in the anthology on the deluxe DVD, will be on air on BET’s 106 & Park tonight and online with VEVO and Beyonceonline.com. Directed by Beyoncé and Alan Ferguson, “Party” is the sixth video released from “4” and features rapper J Cole with cameos from Solange and Kelly Rowland. Live At Roseland was directed by Beyoncé, Ed Burke and Anthony Green and executive produced by Beyoncé for Parkwood Entertainment, in association with Columbia Records.

Oprah, Beyonce, Taylor Swift & others rock Target meeting

Klaudia//September 15, 2011
Forget about Missoni selling out. That was yesterday’s news at Target. Today’s big news is the A-listers who appeared on Target’s semi-annual managers meeting at Target Center Wednesday afternoon. Should we start with the Big O? Oprah wore a little red and khaki as she yakked for about 10 minutes, referring to lots of donations of library books, according to our spy. Another star associated with red, Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, appeared once again. He’s become a regular at these events. Another repeater was Taylor Swift, who has had a long tie-in with Target. And there was another Taylor of older vintage, James Taylor. Speaking of veterans, Tony Bennett serenaded Target managers again, hyping his "Duets II." Alison Krauss + Union Station, who played at the soldout Orpheum on Tuesday, performed at Target Center to thank the retailer for promoting an exclusive CD with extra tracks. Willow Smith also whipped her hair for Target. A pregnant Beyoncé closed the extravaganza, touting her Target exclusive version of her album "4" and her soon-to-be family of three.

Dolce & Gabbana thrilled to dress Beyonce

Klaudia//September 3, 2011
Dolce & Gabbana were "proud" to dress Beyoncé Knowles for her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). The Italian design duo dressed the pregnant star in a purple sequinned jacket with black high-waisted trousers and a low-cut white shirt for the awards show. While wearing the demure garb, Beyoncé opened the jacket and rubbed her baby bump live on stage in Los Angeles on Sunday. The 29-year-old singer earlier graced the red carpet in a flowing gown and cradled her growing tummy as she announced the news to reporters. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were thrilled to be involved in the announcement of the star's happy news. "We are very happy for her maternity, and we are proud she announced it while wearing Dolce & Gabbana!" Dolce told New York Fashion magazine. "She is versatile, determined, and never afraid of changes." Gabbana added that the duo often listen to Beyoncé tracks while they work. The fashionista also insisted the stunning singer will maintain her glamorous aesthetic throughout her pregnancy. "She will be a fantastic mother and we are sure that during her pregnancy she will not lose a bit of her glamour and sensuality," he said.

Beyoncé Still Plans to Do Michael Jackson Tribute

Klaudia//August 30, 2011
Now we know one of the main factors that played into Beyoncé's decision not to fly to Cardiff, Walles, to be present at the October 8 Michael Jackson Tribute Concert — her pregnancy. As previously reported, Bey is the most recent addition to the tribute concert for Jackson, organized by the late pop icon's mother Katherine Jackson. However, the soon-to-be mom is expected to perform one of her favorite Jackson 5 songs via satellite, after originally citing scheduling issues. According to TMZ, rumor has it that Bey is somewhere around four months pregnant, which means that, by the time of the concert, she'll be around five months. Still, the show will go on, as reps for the concert promoters have confirmed, saying that the singer's "pregnancy will not affect her performance." The one-time event will be broadcast live in 30 countries.

Beyonce To Hit The VMA Stage

Klaudia//August 24, 2011
Beyoncé, who instructed girls to run the world with her VMA-nominated smash song, will now run the stage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The "Run the World (Girls)" singer, who has three nominations this year (including Best Female Video, Best Choreography and Best Cinematography) and is the previous recipient of nine Moonmen, including 2009's Video of the Year award for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," will join the lineup of 2011 VMA performers, which already includes Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Young the Giant, Pitbull and Ne-Yo. Jessie J will serve as a house artist for the ceremony. "We are thrilled to have Beyoncé return to her rightful musical home at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards," said Amy Doyle, executive producer of the 2011 MTV VMAs and MTV's EVP of Music & Talent, in a statement. "Her performances at the VMAs are legendary — leaving everyone breathless and talking for days. We can't wait to see her set the stage on fire once again!" While it's been two years since the pop diva extraordinaire last hit the stage as a VMA performer (when she, along with a bevy of backup dancers, brought down the house with a "Single Ladies" number), Beyoncé recently played a series of intimate shows at New York's Roseland Ballroom, performing songs off of her latest album, 4, as well as classic hits, including favorites from the Destiny's Child era, to sold-out crowds. The VMAs will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday at 9 p.m. (live ET/ tape-delayed PT). Presenters includes Selena Gomez (who will pull double duty as VMA pre-show host), Taylor Lautner, Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, Zoe Saldana, Seth Rogen, Drake, Joe Jonas, Jared Leto, Jonah Hill, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Victoria Justice, Rick Ross, Odd Future and JB Smoove.

The concert is being organized by Jackson's mother Katherine and supported by Jackson's siblings Tito, Marlon, Jackie and La Toya Jackson.
