Joseph’s House & Shelter, a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the community and homeless individuals in the Capital Region.
They are offering a unique opportunity for Beyoncé fans. The organization is hosting a raffle to win VIP tickets to see the superstar perform at MetLife Stadium on May 25.
“Gregory Craft, a volunteer at Joseph’s House & Shelter, emphasized the organization’s commitment to supporting those in need. “Individuals that are suffering in Albany and Rensselaer County are also just a part of the community we try to provide aid in the entire spectrum of homelessness,” he said. “A lot of people have aone idea of what homelessness can look like. It looks like a lot of different things.”
Frank Sainato, the Director of Development at Joseph’s House & Shelter, noted that recent changes in federal administration have posed challenges for non-profits. “There’s been a lot of uncertainty with with federal policy changes with funding from certain sources so how do we get creative about bringing new people into into the mission?” he said.
The raffle aims to engage the community by offering a chance to win a VIP experience for two to see Beyoncé, while also supporting the shelter’s mission.
“Beyoncé is incredibly popular recording artist she’s going on tour and are there people that have an interest in going in a concert concert ticket going to this VIP experience but are also interested in helping the community,” Sainato said.
Only 100 raffle tickets will be sold, each priced at $200. The drawing is scheduled for March 20. Those interested in purchasing tickets can visit the Joseph’s House & Shelter website.
