Tina Knowles remembers Beyonce’s visit to the children’s hospital in Singapore

Tina Knowles shared the story behind Beyonce visiting the children’s hospital in Singapore while on tour in 2009:
“Seeing the previous post about Robin Williams visiting hospitals, took me down memory lane. And I found this video which brought me to tears. I remember us being on tour in Singapore., Beyonce was so exhausted, overwhelmed, missing her friends, feeling overworked and a bit sorry for herself. So I shared with her that she had so much to be grateful for and whereas she was feeling tired and overwhelmed it was nothing compared to how things could be. I told her that throughout my life when I would start feeling sorry for myself , I would think about sick children in cancer hospitals and how their parents must have felt totally helpless to help them And how miserable their life was day-to-day watching their children suffer. I told her let’s go visit some kids in the hospital and give them some joy. It will put everything in perspective and make some little kids and their parents very happy. I called her publicist Yvette Noel-Schure and she called the hospital , in the next day.We were off to the hospital the whole band and Dancers . the beauty of her band and Dancers were that they were so happy to go and make those kids happy. They didn’t think twice about it. They all volunteered their day off to go and it was a beautiful day That had me crying during the whole tiime! the motto of the story is that there’s someone always so much worse off and things could get so much worse than they are so count your blessings appreciate what God is giving you❤️❤️”
