Beyonce & Jay-Z take a ride on the back of pick-up truck
They've just had their seventh wedding anniversary and what better way to celebrate than a trip to romantic Hawaii.
However, it wasn't all hearts and flowers for Beyonce Knowles, 33, and 45-year-old Jay Z as the daredevil couple took a trip of questionable safety down the highway in the back of a pick-up truck.
While they might be more used to travelling by private jet and chauffeur-driven limos, in this case, the couple enjoyed the thrill of their more low-key ride, with Jay Z smiling delightedly as he snuggled up to his wife.
Jay looked so relaxed that he was spotted doing the shaka sign to a man who came along behind them in his car and took a picture.
The sign is a gesture often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
The man said: 'I talked to them for a moment and Beyoncé gave the shaka sign too.
'After that Beyoncé didn't turn around much on the ride, but Jay Z was facing the road smiling and drinking what looked like a beer from a cooler in the back of the pickup, they were really chill.'
He added: 'They weren't talking much but they looked pretty happy.'
Jay Z and Beyonce have been staying at a lavish resort in Hualalai, where they have been spotted holding hands and chatting with other guests.
Suja Juice's co-founder James Brennan met the pair at the resort and told E! News: "They were so, so nice. Very warm, super happy, super in love…They both looked very happy in love.'
According to the website, the couple arrived on the island on Easter Sunday, one day after celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary.
They were not joined by their daughter Blue Ivy, who has remained in Los Angeles with Beyonce's sister Solange and her son Julez.
