Australia is overrun with international celebrities this week, with Oprah, U2 and Kanye West taking over Sydney. Jay-Z has joined the A-listers, and spent yesterday afternoon taking in the famous harbour views at an upmarket eatery. The American artist and his wife Beyonce enjoyed drinks and pizza at Hugos bar and restaurant in Manly beach. The couple - who recently splashed out on a £1.3 million supercar - opted for a down-to-earth mode of transport though, travelling to the Northern Beaches suburb on the ferry. The superstars joined regular commuters on the picturesque 40-minute journey, which leaves from Circular Quay, beside the Harbour Bridge. Beyonce was taking advantage of the Summer weather in a floral playsuit, while her husband wore a black T-shirt and trousers. They were surrounded by fans as they walked the short distance from the ferry terminal to the restaurant which overlooks the beach and water. Beyonce and Jay-Z were given the seats with the best view at the waterside venue, enabling passersby to gawk at the VIP diners. After performing with U2 in front of 80,000 people at the ANZ football stadium the night before, 41-year-old Jay-Z relaxed over a glass of white wine with pizza and salad. Hugos is renowned in the city for its pizzas, which start from $24 (£15). Beyonce has accompanied her husband on his joint tour of Australia with the Irish rock group.
