Harris County Rebrands As "Bey County" For Beyoncé's Houston Performances
This weekend, there is a lot of excitement as Beyoncé fans flock to Houston for two consecutive nights of concerts. Local officials are actively responding to express their gratitude for the significant economic upturn anticipated as a result of the singer’s return to her hometown.
Harris County commissioners granted approval for a resolution to symbolically rebrand the region as “Bey County” during the two days, coinciding with the Renaissance World Tour performances. The resolution highlights this gesture as a tribute to Beyoncé and her tour for several reasons: acknowledging the significant positive influence it exerts on the local economy, her steadfast dedication and service to the community, and commemorating her numerous achievements as an artist.
