Beyoncé Teams Up with Kendrick Lamar for 'America Has a Problem' Remix

Klaudia//May 20, 2023
Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar are bringing a new Renaissance.

On Friday, the singer surprised fans by releasing a remix to the track, 'America Has a Problem,' off her Grammy Award-winning seventh studio album.

While the remix sticks to its original dance beat, it quickly goes into Lamar's verse a few seconds in, which includes an ode to the Beyhive and artificial intelligence with lyrics that include: "Hold up, wait a minute / Even AI gotta practice clonin' Kendrick / The double entendre, the encore remnants / I bop like tin men, the opps need ten men."

Beyoncé teases new hair-care venture on Instagram

Klaudia//May 16, 2023
Singer, actress and fashion icon Beyoncé hints she’s adding a new title to her resume: hair-care brand founder.

The singer, who is in the middle of her Renaissance World Tour, announced on Instagram on Tuesday that she is foraying into the world of hair care. “How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in mama’s salon?” she wrote in her announcement.

While the specifics of the new venture are currently unclear, what we do know is that the business will be rooted in hair care.

Her caption continued, “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

Beyoncé Shares Sweet Mother's Day Tribute

Klaudia//May 14, 2023
Beyoncé is showing appreciation to her mom on Mother’s Day.

Queen Bey took to Instagram on Sunday (May 14) share a loving post featuring a large photo of Tina Knowles-Lawson displayed onstage at the superstar singer’s Renaissance tour stop at Brussels’ King Baudouin Stadium. The post also included a short video of Knowles-Lawson excitedly cheering on her daughter from the side of the concert stage.

“Happy Muva’s Day,” Beyoncé captioned the gallery. “I love you so much Mama and I’m so grateful for all you do for me.”

The same sweet message also appeared on the homepage of Beyoncé website on Mother’s Day.

Beyoncé and Balmain Introduce Renaissance Couture

Klaudia//March 24, 2023
Olivier Rousteing should have been doing one of two things late last July; either finalizing Balmain’s spring 2023 collection, or heading off on vacation. Instead he found himself listening to Beyoncé’s freshly-released Renaissance on rotation. As he tells it down a call from Paris: “I was sketching and sketching as I listened, and sometimes you can’t control the emotion of your sketch. And I started to imagine the sketches inside her album, how they would relate to the songs and the lyrics—it wasn’t something I was supposed to be doing but I was just inspired by the music to do it. And that’s how this started.”

Once he did get to that vacation, Rousteing kept sketching his Renaissance-rabbit hole pieces, refining and shaping. Then when he returned to Paris at the end of August he made a decision. “I contacted Marni and B. And I said, ‘honestly, I want to create a couture collection with you.’ And they were like: ‘Wow, that’s a big surprise.’”

Added Rousteing: “My hope was that she would be up for something even beyond the work we have done together before… I wanted us to be co-designers.” To his delight, Beyoncé was into it too.

Over the last five months Rousteing has been working in partnership with Beyoncé and Senofonte. Their first task was to whittle down the 50 or so looks that Rousteing sketched in his musically-driven fever dream to a playlist of 17. And the second was to collaborate on the process of transforming those remaining sketches into a fully produced and realized Balmain x Beyoncé couture collection. The result is a suite of A-side looks that honor both the history of the house and the musical heritage of the performer. Two of them have been seen already—glimpsed at the Grammys and the BRIT Awards earlier this year—and a few others are soon to be revealed elsewhere.

Beyoncé, Balmain Collaborate to Create Couture Outfits Inspired by 'Renaissance'

Klaudia//March 24, 2023
Beyoncé has a new collaborator: French luxury fashion house Balmain.

The singer, who appears on the April cover of Vogue France, announced on Friday that she has co-created a Balmain haute couture collection with Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director.

Renaissance Couture by Beyoncé x Balmain includes 16 couture outfits dedicated to the 16 songs on Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning Renaissance album.

“Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram. “Designing alongside you was freeing — thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself.”

“To the @voguefrance team, thank you for trusting in our vision and sharing it with the world,” she added.

Beyonce's IVY PARK Ushers In The adidas Nite Jogger 7.0

Klaudia//February 6, 2023
Originally released in 1979 with its sights set on enhancing the visibility of runners at dawn and dusk, the adidas Nite Jogger has since been reserved for a myriad of disparate collaborative efforts from Twitch streamer Ninja to Beyonce’s widely-adorned IVY PARK line. Having kicked off the new year with a revamped adidas Top Ten 2000, Queen B’s revered brand is now returning to the iconic adi running silhouette, albeit with an outdoorsy twist.

Following a four-year hiatus, IVY PARK returned in 2020 with a slew of Three-Stripes models, including a mass influx in the now lifestyle-reflective model. Three years later, the brand harkens back to the 80s-synonymous silhouette with an adventurous aesthetic, surrounding its greyscale upper stitched with bright orange accents in an allover semi-translucent rubberized cage. Ditching its mid-foot stripes for a simplistic, clad upper, the mudguard’s suede textile dawns a contrasting ever-so-light grey and olive composition. Lightened by faded pink quarter overlays, the tongue’s plush construction features an additional sampling of olive with embossed cream tabs while underfoot, the revitalized ensemble renders a crisp white BOOST midsole with hits of orange and pink finishing along the tread.

While we await further release details, enjoy official images of the IVY PARK x adidas Nite Jogger 7.0 below in the meantime.
