Beyoncé gives Kamala Harris permission to use 'Freedom' for her presidential campaign

Klaudia//July 23, 2024
Vice President Kamala Harris made a big entrance during her first official visit to her campaign headquarters on Monday evening, walking out to Beyoncé’s song “Freedom.”

A source close to Harris told CNN that her team got approval from Beyoncé’s representatives to use the song throughout her presidential campaign.

Beyoncé, who is known for maintaining strict clearance guidelines around her music, gave quick approval to Harris’ campaign when they sought permission to use “Freedom” on Monday — just hours before she walked out to the song, the source added.

While Beyoncé has not officially endorsed Harris in the day since President Joe Biden announced he would not seek a second term, granting her permission to use “Freedom” as a campaign song indicates that Harris has the superstar’s support.

Neither the Harris campaign nor a representative for Beyoncé responded to CNN’s requests for comment.

Shania Twain Reveals Beyoncé Sent Her Handwritten Note

Klaudia//July 20, 2024
Back in the spring, Shania Twain took delivery of an enormous bunch of flowers at her home in Switzerland. It was accompanied by a handwritten message, signed 'Beyoncé'.

'It was this lovely note just saying, "Thank you for the inspiration, I listened to your music all through the making of Cowboy Carter",' says Twain. 'So that was very sweet! I wasn't expecting that.'

These international megastars – Beyoncé, Swift and Twain – they do cross paths at awards ceremonies from time to time. 'There is definitely a mutual respect among the artists who are prepared to put themselves in a more vulnerable situation – the ones who dare to be different,' says Twain.

Still, she had no idea that she had inspired the soul singer to come up with an album of line-dance-ready country pop of the kind that she herself made inescapable in the late 1990s.

Beyoncé praises 'twin' Jordan Chiles in heartwarming note ahead of 2024 Olympics

Klaudia//July 20, 2024
Beyoncé does not pen heartwarming notes to just anyone.

Needless to say, U.S. gymnastics star Jordan Chiles stood out to the pop icon during the U.S. Gymnastics Championship in May -- so much so that the 32-time Grammy winner delivered Chiles a personalized message with the Cowboy Carter album cover.

“Congrats to you Queen. I always watch you with pride and admiration,” Beyoncé handwrote on the cover.

The message did not stop there.

“Thank you for repping us. Good luck to you! All your hard work and sacrifices shine bright,” Beyoncé continued.

The remarkable kicker came at the end when the pop star addressed herself as Chiles' twin: “Praying for you and wishing you the best. Love, your twin, Beyoncé.”

At that moment Chiles ran to her Instagram story to share the news with her followers.

“Ahhhhh!!! I’m screaming right now. Yall Beyoncé sent me this and I’m crying!!!” Chiles said.

Beyoncé, Sphere end residency talks - but singer could land at this Sin City venue

Klaudia//July 14, 2024
Beyoncé won’t be saddling up to perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas after negotiations broke down — but she may ride into another Sin City venue, The Post has learned.

The superstar singer, whose latest album Cowboy Carter has gone platinum, had been in talks for months with the James Dolan-owned state-of-the-art venue, but the sticking point turned out to be Beyoncé’s demand for the Sphere to go dark for two weeks so that she can rehearse, sources close to the situation said.

The $2.3 billion arena, which just celebrated the one-year anniversary of its outer exosphere, has four daily showings of the immersive film “Postcards from Earth” — with ticket prices starting at $104.

Shuttering the 20,000-seat Sphere for 14 days for rehearsal time would be a significant revenue hit, sources said.

Her team was also reportedly asking for about $10 million to produce the diva’s high-tech stage show — roughly the same amount of money the Sphere paid U2 to put on its spectacle, as The Post previously reported.

Beyoncé, who finished her “Renaissance” tour last September, is now speaking to rival MGM about a possible residency of roughly 100 shows over four years, the sources added.

Megan Thee Stallion Credits Beyoncé For Advising Her To Launch A Tequila Brand

Klaudia//July 4, 2024
Having The Carters as mentors is a flex, especially when they’re giving out advice about how to become a mogul.

On Monday (July 1), Megan Thee Stallion revealed on Club Shay Shay that it was under the guidance of Beyoncé that she decided to venture into spirits and launch her own tequila brand.

“Beyoncé is actually the person that inspired me to get my own tequila,” explained the “BOA” rapper. “Because I used to be the cognac queen. I still am the cognac queen. But as much as I used to enjoy cognac, and I’ve promoted a lot of people’s liquor brands, she was like, ‘The next time I see you, you better have your own. You need to have your own alcohol.’”

Of the decision, Megan revealed, “When I was in the situation with and I wanted to get out of it, told me you need to do this on your own. Like, ‘You already know what it is. You already have all the tools. All the legal s**t you are going through, I know you are learning something. So you should figure out how to get out here and be your own boss.’”
