The "Ego" that keeps everyone talking has been certified by the RIAA. In the latest round of RIAA certifications, Beyonce's hit single "Ego" earned a Gold nod in celebration of over 500k units being shipped. Released in May, Beyonce's "Ego" and an accompanying pair of remixes, including one with Kanye West, peaked at no.3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Singles Chart. "Ego" is the fifth single to be released from Beyonce's multi-Platinum selling album "I Am... Sasha Fierce". Since its release in November of 2008, "I Am... Sasha Fierce" has moved more than two million copies in the United States alone.

Sandwiched between a supermodel-turned-reality show host and a smart-aleck political commentator, Gov. Ed Rendell this week found himself listed among "The 75 Best People in the World," as determined by Esquire magazine. "I always thought Esquire magazine had terrific judgment," Rendell said through a spokesman after learning he landed at No. 39, right after Heidi Klum of "Project Runway" but before Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert. Heading the list is actor Matt Damon, followed by Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and singer Beyonce Knowles.

Michelle Obama and Beyoncé join Kate Winslet, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian among People magazine's “10 Best Dressed Women” of the year, which appears in its annual Best & Worst Dressed double issue on newsstands today. The First Lady earned the Best Accessible Glamour title, while Mrs. Jay-Z was given the Best Street Chic distinction by the publication. Rounding out the list are Cameron Diaz – Best Jeans, Nicole Richie – Best Maternity, Freida Pinto – Best Use of Color, Reese Witherspoon – Best Short Dresses and Vanessa Hudgens – Best Hippie. Winslet took the top honor of Best Red Carpet Chic, while Swift had the Best Sparkle and Kim K was tagged with Best Bikinis.

Cadillac Records - Music From The Motion Picture, the critically-acclaimed Music World/Columbia Records soundtrack album, has proven the year's biggest success on America's Blues Albums charts. Propelled by Beyonce's emotional rendering of "At Last," the song she performed at the 2009 Inaugural Ball for President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's first dance as First Couple, Cadillac Records - Music From The Motion Picture has ruled the Billboard Blues Albums chart since its release on December 2, 2008, spending more than six months (27 weeks) at #1 and 37 consecutive weeks in the chart's Top 10 (or better). Created as the musical accompaniment to "Cadillac Records," the film chronicling the history of Chicago's Chess Records starring Adrien Brody and Beyonce Knowles, the film's soundtrack introduced a whole new generation of music fans to classic American blues through classic rhythm & blues covers and new soul sounds performed by Beyonce, Solange, Jeffrey Wright, Raphael Saadiq, Mos Def and others. Cadillac Records - Music From The Motion Picture is produced by multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/drummer Steve Jordan (Eric Clapton, John Mayer Trio, Bob Dylan, Keith Richards) and Executive Produced by Mathew Knowles for Music World Entertainment, Inc. Beyonce's "I Am...Sasha Fierce" opus yields a fourth No. 1 on Dance/Club Play Songs, as "Sweet Dreams" lifts 2-1. The track follows leaders "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" (January), "Diva" (March) and "Halo" (May). "Sweet Dreams" is the album's fifth charted song; "If I Were a Boy" stopped at No. 2 in January. "Sweet Dreams" is Beyonce's 11th No. 1. She first ruled with "Crazy in Love" this week in 2003. With her current hit's ascension, Beyonce ties Kristine W for second-most toppers this decade. Madonna leads in that span with 17 No. 1s. (Beyonce also made three trips to the summit with Destiny's Child from 2000 to 2005). Since Dance/Club Play Songs originated in Billboard in 1974, Beyonce is one of eight solo women to boast a double-digit No. 1 total:

Jessica Biel is the most dangerous celebrity on the Web. Security technology company McAfee Inc. on Tuesday reported that searches for the 27-year-old actress are more likely to lead to online threats such as spyware and viruses than searches for any other celebrity. McAfee said fans searching for the actress have a one-in-five chance of ending up at a Web site designed to damage one's computer. Its the third annual report on the subject from McAfee, which last year found that Brad Pitt was the "most dangerous" celeb online. "Cybercriminals are star watchers, too," said Jeff Green, senior vice president of McAfee's product development. "They latch onto popular celebrities to encourage the download of malicious software in disguise." Following Biel in the report, in order, were Beyonce, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady and Jessica Simpson. McAfee noted President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are curiously safe searches, ranking no. 34 and no. 39, respectively.
