Beyoncé Embracing the Outdoors for Latest Ivy Park Drop

Klaudia//January 21, 2023
Beyoncé is headed into the woods — and the urban jungle — for the latest drop of her Ivy Park collection with Adidas.

Called Park Trail, the line is intended to be a “trail-blazing expression of performance wear inspired by the resilience of the outdoors, the spirit of the streets, and the possibilities of the future,” the companies said.

What that translates into is a collection of gender-neutral performance apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and kids that can be worn hiking up a mountain or trekking through city streets. In total, there are 56 pieces of apparel, 12 accessories and three footwear styles for adults and 12 apparel styles, four accessories and one footwear style for kids.

A canyon camouflage print makes its appearance on several key pieces in the apparel assortment including a sequined jacket, faux fur coat and canvas track suit; a circular knit crop top, tight and zip hoodie; a jacquard sweater, and a hidden pocket crewneck sweatshirt.

Layering pieces and storage options are emphasized throughout the collection and the color palette includes both traditional outdoors options such as Denali green, cream white and indigo as well as eye-popping hues of solar orange, purple and lime green.

Beyonce Invites Journalists and Influencers to Dubai for Luxury Weekend

Klaudia//January 21, 2023
Last July, Beyoncé unveiled the long-awaited Renaissance, a multi-Grammy-nominated, critically vaunted album that explicitly celebrated queer dance music. She has not yet announced a tour behind the album, but this weekend several journalists and celebrities might be the first to see the singer perform live for the first time since a Kobe and Gianna Bryant tribute set in 2020. (At the Oscars last March, she aired a pre-taped performance of her King Richard song, “Be Alive.”)

Per an invitation that many publications (including Pitchfork) received from the musician’s team, the singer is hosting an all-expenses-paid luxury weekend in Dubai, taking place January 20 to 22. The invite is for the unofficial opening of Atlantis the Royal hotel, and begins as follows: “Beyoncé invites you to a weekend where your dreams become your destination. You and a guest are invited for epicurean feasts, beachside indulgences, and special reveal experiences including business class airfare, first-class ground transportation, and first-class accommodations at Atlantis the Royal.” A “once in a lifetime performance” is mentioned, too, but without any artist attached to it.

The Dubai weekend has been sparsely reported, with UK tabloid The Sun reporting in December that Beyoncé was planning an hourlong performance at the city’s luxury resort Atlantis the Royal. A source told The Sun that Swedish House Mafia would DJ at an afterparty, which is also confirmed by the invitation.

Beyoncé's 'Cuff It' Hits Billboard Hot 100 Top 10

Klaudia//January 15, 2023
Beyoncé’s fan-favorite track from her recent Renaissance album, “Cuff It,” has jumped from No. 38 to No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart dated Jan. 14, 2023, giving the superstar her 21st Hot 100 top 10 hit as a soloist.

The achievement is her second top 10 from Renaissance, after “Break My Soul” spent two weeks at No. 1 beginning in August. The set is her first to spin off multiple top 10s since I Am…Sasha Fierce yielded four in 2008-09: “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” (No. 1, four weeks), “If I Were a Boy” (No. 3), “Halo” (No. 5) and “Sweet Dreams” (No. 10).

What’s even more impressive, is that “Cuff It” climbed the chart without a music video or a pushed promotional strategy. The song gained traction on its own from Beyoncé fans and TikTok users, the latter of which taking part in a fun dance trend started by users Maycee (@maycsteele) and Kaitlyn (@ogpartyhardy26).

Beyonce to perform invite-only show at Dubai's Atlantis The Royal

Klaudia//December 25, 2022
Music megastar Beyonce is set to perform at the opening of Atlantis The Royal.

The Single Ladies singer has not played a full-length concert since 2018 but has reportedly been offered $24 million for the one-hour gig at the five-star hotel, reports The Sun newspaper.

Tickets for the show will be hard to come by as it is invite-only, with those select tickets already having been sent out.

The ultra-luxury waterfront hotel was supposed to have its grand reveal in November but this has been postponed until January 21.

Spanning 63 hectares and housing 795 rooms and suites, countless hospitality venues and no less than 90 swimming pools, the resort’s opening has been anticipated for years. Operators have called the hotel the "new iconic landmark of Dubai".

The-Dream Talks About Working With Beyonce

Klaudia//December 22, 2022
Terius “The-Dream” Gesteeldt-Diamant stands on the verge of several big milestones: He’s nominated for six Grammys, including Album of the Year for Beyoncé’s Renaissance, and Song and Record of the Year for that album’s “Break My Soul.” And, in what is perhaps the most personal accomplishment, he got a nod for the first-ever award for Songwriter of the Year for his part in penning music for Bey, Rosalía, Brent Faiyaz and Pusha T.

Over two conversations, one sitting in the pool house of his Atlanta residence and another over the phone, The-Dream goes deep into what inspires him, the unlikely origins of “Break My Soul” and more.

Let’s talk about the relationship between you and Beyoncé. This is an artist who does anthems. It’s one thing when you talk wild shit to other people, how do you work with someone like her where you’re telling her, “You should say it this way…”

That's my Virgo sister right there. So I'm the friend that's there that just happens to know how to relate musically, of course. I could look at her and just like, Nah. I know exactly what to say for this thing. People don't believe this most times, but it's the same thing that you're doing. I am a reporter. I'm just reporting emotions. I'm reporting Bey back to herself. Even shit she's missed. “You can't keep up with what the fuck you doing. I saw what happened yesterday and I could write the whole day down whole album if you needed me to, because I saw. You couldn't have seen it. You were doing it.” So in most things like “Single Ladies,” and I've said this before, where it's like, Oh, it's actually an easy story to write. … She's already written most of the shit that you're trying to write because there's only one motherfucker you can write that for.

Tina Knowles-Lawson Opens Up About a Time A Young Beyoncé Got Very Angry

Klaudia//December 21, 2022
Tina Knowles-Lawson recently opened up about the time she had to teach a young Queen Bey an impactful lesson on never coming off as too entitled and the tough love she had to give to the then-aspiring entertainer.

The admission was part of a larger cross-generational discussion with former first lady Michelle Obama and an influential panel of black women, including recording artists H.E.R. and Kelly Rowland, supermodel-activist Winnie Harlow, and Knowles-Lawson, moderated by radio host Angie Martinez.

The women covered several topics, with some of them including the struggles of motherhood and how they balance protecting their children while also allowing them to be in the world and make mistakes.

This led the 69-year-old designer and mom to Grammy Award-winning daughters Solange Knowles and Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter to recall a time she had to teach the then-young “Lemonade” singer a lesson on entitlement.

The entrepreneur said she makes sure “that there’s a balance so that they don’t feel that they’re entitled to things, because I remember stories about that because of the position that they are in that they’re entitled and that someone should just give them something.”

Inside Beyoncé's "Club Renaissance" Event in Los Angeles

Klaudia//December 19, 2022
On Friday night, lines formed outside of a relatively unmarked warehouse space in Downtown Los Angeles for “Club Renaissance,” a two-night event in celebration of Renaissance, Beyoncé‘s seventh studio album. The album, released in July, is a kaleidoscopic exploration of genre, escapism and self-expression; on it, Beyoncé experiments with different shades of dance, house, disco, pop and R&B.

The party’s unspoken 1970s-era theme was interpreted by attendees for their outfits in a range of ways, much like the sonic versatility of the project itself. The event, presented by Amazon Music and Parkwood Entertainment, featured several notables in attendance, including Kenya Barris, Lori Harvey, and singers Syd, Victoria Monét and Lucky Daye.

The building was lined with graphic posters of a Renaissance promotional image, which several partygoers used as a backdrop for their photographs. And there was another wall ripe for photo opportunities, decorated with neon signs that bore song lyrics and titles from the album, like “Church Girl” and “Cozy.”

Guests chatted and sipped thematically named cocktails (“Cuff It” and “Alien Superstar,” also Renaissance titles) once doors were open, and approximately an hour after the event started at 9 p.m., the DJ began to play Renaissance top to bottom and in spatial audio. Attendees enjoyed it from the dance floor for the duration, creating the very Studio 54-esque dance party the project promises. (A group of engineers tucked along the periphery were controlling the sensory displays, which included strobe lights and fog elements.)

The glowing, holographic horse Beyoncé is seated on in the album’s cover art was prominently placed in the center of the room, enclosed in a glass box like a museum artifact. Throughout the night, the air was buzzing with the question of if Beyoncé herself would join the event, like she did in previous cities (ultimately, she did not, but she did record a special message for the attendees).

Free tickets were released online to her subscribers last week and sold out in under 20 minutes.

Beyonce's strict rules for her crew during upcoming world tour revealed

Klaudia//December 12, 2022
SINCE she announced her tour earlier this year, Beyonce has given very little away about her upcoming shows.

But The Sun can now reveal that the Break My Soul singer has been busy behind closed doors getting her team in Formation.

And to make sure her band, dancers and crew are on top of their game for the duration of next year’s Renaissance tour, Queen Bey wants a strict no booze or drugs policy.

She is also conducting strict #MeToo checks with every member of staff to create a safe working environment.

A well-placed mole tells me: “Bey knows the new performances will require intense choreography and precision, so everyone has to be clean and sober.

“There won’t be any crazy partying on the road either.

“She is also carrying out #MeToo checks with the dancers, band and crew with hopes doing so will make the tour a safe and friendly work environment.

BLACKPINK's Rosé Spills On What Beyoncé Told Her At A Tiffany & Co. Event

Klaudia//December 4, 2022
BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has never been shy about how Beyoncé inspired her to become a musician, although her goal of becoming “like Beyoncé” has since changed.

"My dream? When I was really little, my dreams were very absurd. I really wanted to become a great singer like Beyoncé or Michael Jackson."

When she was little, Rosé admits that she used to play piano and loudly sing Beyoncé songs, which possibly annoyed her parents into realizing how seriously she wanted to pursue music.

"Once I grew up, they told me, ‘Rosie, to be honest, it was really hard for us to go to bed when you were singing at the top of your lungs.’ I think I would sing Beyoncé’s ‘Listen’ when I couldn’t reach the notes cause I was a terrible singer."

Of course, Rosé has become a global superstar, currently on BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK world tour and constantly impressing fans with her tremendous talent.

The global icon was also recently featured on the cover of Vogue Hong Kong, stunning fans with her gorgeous and elegant visuals.

And in her interview with the magazine, Rosé continued to express her admiration for Beyoncé, having felt honored to be able to attend a Tiffany & Co. event with her idol.
