Beyonce, U2, Foo Fighters and Muse are battling it out to be named Headliner of the Year at the UK Festival Awards. All acts who headlined festivals in the UK in 2011 are in the running for the trophy - including Linkin Park, Pulp The Eagles and Prince - and the public were urged to vote for their favourite as the awards were launched at the Red Bull Studios in London last night. Winners will be announced at the UK Festival Awards ceremony which will take place at London's Roundhouse venue on Tuesday, 15 November. Public voting for the awards is open now. Reports have suggested that Beyoncé and Jay-Z will spend over £1million on their unborn child…before Queen B even gives birth. According to Now magazine, the former Destiny's Child star is taking no chances when it comes to her first pregnancy, with an insider claiming the huge amount of cash will be spend on her health. A source told the publication: "Beyoncé's waited a long time to have a baby and she's determined to take good care of herself." “She's paying a dietician to organise a food plan of natural organic meals for her, she's having daily massages and she's spent a fortune on lotions to prevent stretch marks and keep her feeling good.” They added: "Beyoncé's been told to look after herself like never before and Jay Z's making sure she has everything she needs.”

On Monday morning (September 19), Beyonce and Tina are going to be on The Lorraine Show in the UK. On September 23, Beyonce will be a musical guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

I caught up with Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts this week as she prepared to release her cracking new single Lucky Day today. It turns out pop superstar Beyoncé is a big inspiration. Nic told me: “I’m overly obsessed with Beyoncé. When I have a decision to make I say: ‘What would she do?’.” But it’s not just Beyoncé getting the lady love from Miss Roberts – Rihanna wasn’t far behind. Nicola added: “Rihanna’s perfect in every way. I’ve got a major girl crush on her.”

Solange Knowles says she’s a proud auntie already, even though Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby hasn’t arrived yet. And the parents know the baby’s gender and have started thinking of names. At a New York Fashion Week party at Denise Rich’s penthouse overlooking Central Park, Solange said she’s known about Beyonce’s pregnancy for awhile. “I certainly didn’t find out the way you guys did,” she said, referring to Beyonce’s baby-bump display at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. Solange – dressed in a yellow Thakoon dress and Fendi shoes — said the couple already knows the baby’s gender, and has been choosing a name, but both are being kept under wraps for now. Solange, herself a mother, just relocated to Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, from Los Angeles, and sent her son to first grade this past week. She’s also working on a new record.

Singer Beyonce Knowles, who is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z, is taking pregnancy advice from actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has two children. "Gwyneth has known about this pregnancy for over a month and has been telling Beyonce to drink a shot of wheatgrass each morning and to rub her belly with coconut oil to prevent stretch marks," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying. "She's also advised her to meditate for an hour every day and soak her feet in ice water to prevent swelling," the source added.

Speaking of veterans, Tony Bennett serenaded Target managers again, hyping his "Duets II." Alison Krauss + Union Station, who played at the soldout Orpheum on Tuesday, performed at Target Center to thank the retailer for promoting an exclusive CD with extra tracks. Willow Smith also whipped her hair for Target. A pregnant Beyoncé closed the extravaganza, touting her Target exclusive version of her album "4" and her soon-to-be family of three.
