Beyonce & Jay-Z Get Photoshoot Fresh

Klaudia//September 26, 2011
Looks like The Carters are still busy at work. Jay-Z & Beyonce were spotted outdoors on the set of a new photoshoot (or possible video shoot for that matter) today. And the pair were engaging in a little downtime with Bey looking subdued in a grey tank top and Jay in his usual grey t-shirt. Jay just performed and partied it up in Vegas Friday night, but the couple was likely back in NYC today...seeing that the two kids in the pic above (named Chance & Summer) belong to Jay's long time stylist June Ambrose. And June, whose reality show kicks off February 2012 on VH1, spent Saturday in NYC celebrating her son Chance's 10th birthday at Bowlmor Lanes. No word yet on what (or who) the shoot is for exactly. But we're sure the final product will come out soon. Awwww look at that side profile of the baby bump....

Britney Gives Beyoncé Advice On Motherhood

Klaudia//September 24, 2011
Britney Spears has offered mum-to-be Beyoncé some advice when it comes to being a celebrity mother in the music industry. Speaking exclusively to MTV News, the I Wanna Go singer - who was present at the VMAs when Queen B announced her pregnancy - has advised Bey to "treasure the moments" with her unborn child. When asked if she had any words of wisdom for the Single Ladies hitmaker, Britney told us: "Just embrace it fully. And just to...do whatever you want to do." "If you want to take two or three years off...because, you know, they grow so fast; it happens so fast. Just treasure the moments."

Beyonce not slowing down

Klaudia//September 22, 2011

Now that Beyonce is pregnant, there are certain smells that turn her stomach. “My nose, I smell everything from a mile away,” Beyonce said during an interview with The Associated Press while wearing a long, flowing purple dress, her baby bump showing. “Usually it is food, it is onions or something that I just can’t tolerate.” Her new fragrance is not one of them. On Wednesday, Beyonce was busy promoting Pulse, her third scent. For the creator of girl-power anthems like “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and “Run the World (Girls),” Pulse represents another extension of that theme. “I always meet strong, powerful women and they always have a signature scent,” the 30-year-old said. “That is one of the first things I was so proud of. I thought about Diamonds and Elizabeth Taylor and all these icons, so I am so proud of this.”

AP: How is this fragrance different from your others?

Beyonce: This is very fresh. This is all about citrus, but it also has vanilla in the back. It is important for me for a fragrance not to just smell like one thing. I think women are interesting and I don’t like for you to be like, “Ok, this smells like this.” I like for it to be something signature and something that brings out your inner beauty and your confidence and makes you feel like you leave a long-lasting impression on someone.

Beyonce’s Baby Getting a Star?

Klaudia//September 22, 2011
Now that Beyonce is expecting her first child with Jay-Z, her stylist Phillip Bloch spills about what he plans to buy for the bouncing bundle of joy once he or she makes her debut in early 2012. “I’m going to give her baby a star,” he tells me. “Someone gave it to me once – my father gave it to me as a present for my birthday, and I give it to people as a baby present, because I think it’s an extraordinary gift because it’s something you give to someone who has everything. A star!” He continues, “I usually wait until the baby’s born. I usually try and do it within the day of the baby being born so it’s astrologically right, but you’ve gotta wait until you know the name.” Phillip, whose clients also include Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Salma Hayek and Nicole Kidman, expects the Grammy-winning diva, 30, to slow down once her little one arrives, even though the committed to remake the film A Star Is Born. “She’ll be an extraordinary mom,” he says. “She’s one of my favorite celebrities I’ve ever worked with. She’s got a great sense of humor, she’s incredibly sweet, she’s incredibly caring, and those are the factors you need to be a mom.” He continues, ”One of the things i’ve seen as a stylist is b****** get put in their place when they’re a mom. It’s not about them anymore – it’s not about my dress, it’s not about my hair, it’s not about me-me-me-me-me. You suddenly realize there’s a bigger picture, and it’s about the baby.” He adds, “She’s a natural. I want to know when the next one is, because I can’t see her just having one. I think she’ll have a couple.” He’s sure hubby Jay-Z is thrilled. The couple wed in 2008. “Jay won the prize,” he tells me. “You don’t mess that up. That’s the prize. You got the keeper.”

Katy Perry Looks to Beyonce for Fashion Advice!

Klaudia//September 22, 2011
In a recent interview with InStyle Magazine pop star Katy Perry said she goes to the one and only Beyonce for fashion advice. Katy told the mag, “I’ve adopted the Beyoncé leg. When I saw her on tour, she had these glowing legs. They’re Wolford neon 40 tights. I put them on first, and then over them I wear a Capezio fishnet that has been bedazzled. I do lots of layers. I’m like an artichoke.”

Glee's Heather Morris talks about Beyonce

Klaudia//September 22, 2011
You started out as a backup dancer for Gwyneth's BFF Beyonce. Did they ever compare notes about you?

Gwyneth told me recently, "I saw Beyonce, and we talked about you all night." I have no idea what they spoke about, but I'm hoping all good things. They better not be talking crap behind my back!

What did you learn about being a performer from Beyonce?

That putting in the time really pays off. Beyonce is so focused. We'd have 12-hour days of nonstop dancing, and she was right there next to us from start to finish. I think that's why she's so mesmerizing on stage; she gives everything her all.

Beyonce's Boyz II Men Sample On 'Countdown' Is 'Clever' Band Says

Klaudia//September 22, 2011
When Beyoncé dropped 4 earlier this year, she paid homage to her roots by sampling Boyz II Men. The singer used the countdown portion of their track "Uhh Ahh" on her I'm-so-in-love party track "Countdown." The song is all about the rapture of true love, with Beyoncé happily declaring her devotion to that special man in her life. So were the guys happy about her decision to include them on the album? "I thought it was very clever," Wanya Morris told MTV News earlier this week when he stopped by to chat about the latest Boyz II Men album, Twenty. "She's a clever artist. She's one of the best in the business right now. I guess you can say we finally got our duet with Beyoncé." The guys are certainly having a moment this year, thanks to the sample and their work with Justin Bieber. They say that Beyoncé's decision to use their song on the lively track was pretty surprising, even though they have a bit of history with Queen B. "It wasn't something we expected, but we do have a bit of a relationship," Nathan Morris explained. "A lot of people don't really know that when they had Destiny's Child, the first time they went on tour they opened up for us for quite a long time. And we tried our best to look after them and make sure everything was good. And back then they were incredible." Even that long ago they knew Beyoncé stood out from the pack. "We all saw that she would wind up doing her thing," Morris added. "There is a connection, and at the end of the day we didn't know she would use that record. Game respects game, I guess you would call it."

Beyonce and Tina Knowles on fashion collection and pregnancy

Klaudia//September 20, 2011
Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles talk to CNN's Becky Anderson during London Fashion Week about the launch of their fashion label, House of Dereon, and Beyonce's pregnancy.

Beyonce: I grew up in a fabric store. Unfortunately my mother would say: "Come on let's go to the fabric store," and she would make all of these beautiful clothes for myself and the other ladies of Destiny's Child, and after so many years my fans said we want to buy these clothes somewhere, so it was a natural thing for us to do this line, and it's so great for us to be able to do it together, number one because we get to spend time together, and two because we have such respect for each others' taste.

Becky: Tina what is it like to see not just your daughter but your designs on television?

Tina Knowles: Oh it's unbelievable sometimes and I never anticipated that. I started designing things out of necessity because there were budgetary restraints. So I would buy fabrics instead of clothes and just make them.

Beyonce: Back in those days they wouldn't loan us the clothes.

Tina: And it's funny when you need the clothes they won't loan them to you, and when you don't need them everyone wants to give them to you, so that's how it started but that was very exciting to see the clothes on TV.
