Blue Ivy: "She's Absolutely Beautiful!" Gushes Kelly Rowland

Klaudia//January 25, 2012
Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy is one seriously good-looking baby. Don't believe us? Just ask Beyonce's Destiny's Child bandmate and bestie Kelly Rowland... "She's absolutely beautiful!" Rowland gushed to us at last night's Hpnotiq Harmonie and Live Louder 2012 Kickoff cocktail party at the W hotel in Hollywood. "And I say that with such a huge grin! I'm so excited." Rowland debunked reports that she and Destiny's Child pal Michelle Williams serenaded little Blue when the two recently met the 2-week-old. "We all just stared at her," she smiled. "I just stared at her. She is so beautiful." The singer stayed mum on what kind of baby gifts she got the little one. "That's between me and Blue," she said. "But you best believe her auntie will have her dressed to impress." And yes, Rowland agrees that baby Blue will have some serious skills when it comes to singing. "She was on her dad's record ["Glory"]," she laughed. "Her first feature is like two days old! So yeah, she's musical."

Beyoncé's Rep: First Post-Baby Interview 'Is Fake'

Klaudia//January 18, 2012
A representative for Beyoncé has clarified that her supposed first post-baby interview is fake, insisting that an article published by UK's Star Magazine is "made up." The publication claimed to have an exclusive first interview with Queen B following the birth of daughter Blue Ivy Carter, where the 1 + 1 singer apparently divulged details of her arrival, as well as praising hubby Jay-Z's parenting skills. However, a rep for the former Destiny's Child star has revealed that Bey hasn't given any interviews since Blue Ivy was born, telling Access Hollywood that Star's story is "completely made up". When asked about the legitimacy of the article, the Single Ladies hitmaker's spokesperson simply added: "Absolutely not." Despite Beyoncé's rep slamming the story, the editor of Star magazine has since claimed: "It is not made up or fictitious at all. "We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyoncé before the birth. The reporter then obtained the 'top-up' info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team."

Beyoncé Is Already a Wonderful Mom, Destiny's Child Pals Say

Klaudia//January 17, 2012
Beyoncé just brought baby Blue Ivy Carter home from the hospital but motherhood, according to her former Destiny's Child bandmates, is as natural for the pop star as dancing in stilettos and a leotard. "She's doing fabulous," Michelle Williams told PEOPLE on the red carpet at the taping of the 2012 BET Honors in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. "She was born to be a mother," Kelly Rowland added at the show, which will air Feb. 13. She's wonderful." According to Williams, Beyoncé has what it takes to be a great mother to baby Blue. "She has such compassion for people and humanity, period," she said. Still, Williams admits that the ladies of Destiny's Child never thought their frontwoman would be the first to become a mom. "We were very shocked. We were laughing with each other the other day and she was like, 'Can y'all believe it? I was the anti – like no children for me,' and she's the first one ," Williams said. "So it was so amazing to see her." Williams, who already spent time with "the bundle of joy," says Beyoncé and Jay-Z's little chart topper just might be the most stylish baby on the scene. After all, she has Kelly and Michelle looking after her!

Beyoncé Gives First Interview Since Blue Ivy's Birth

Klaudia//January 17, 2012
Beyoncé has given her first interview since the birth of her baby Blue Ivy Carter, revealing that words can't describe how it feels to finally be a mum. Queen B, who welcomed Blue Ivy to the world on Saturday 7th January, also confirmed that hubby Jay-Z was with her throughout the birth at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital. Speaking to Star magazine, Bey admitted: "Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can’t be found, "It's an old cliche that the thing expectant moms look forward to the most is holding their child in their arms for the first time, but it's one of those cliche that is a real truth." When asked about Jigga, the Love On Top singer said: "He would not have missed it for anything. He is a very protective and loyal guy by nature. "He is a very protective husband, and since we found out I was pregnant I have seen the protective father in him. He is not only an inspirational artist, he is an inspirational husband. I know the next step on his journey is going to be being an inspirational father." The 30-year added that Jay is not afraid to get his hands dirty when it comes to their daughter, stating: "He will change diapers, of course he will. He is going to be a very hands-on father. He has already said publicly that providing isn’t love. Love is being there. Love is doing the little things for your child." Beyoncé then confessed she couldn't wait to bring Blue Ivy home from the hospital, claiming: "I am so excited. From the time I knew I was pregnant we have been parents. A child is the greatest gift you can receive, and we are so excited and blessed to be in this situation.

Beyonce's former bandmates 'in love' with Blue Ivy

Klaudia//January 16, 2012
Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have been doting over Blue Ivy Carter. The former Destiny's Child stars have been to see their ex-bandmate and her first baby, who was born on January 7, and say both her and husband Jay-Z have quickly taken to their new parental roles. Speaking of Blue, Michelle said: "She is absolutely gorgeous. We were all in love. Beyonce and Jay-Z have already settled into their role of being parents, and it's just awesome to see." Michelle admitted seeing Blue had even made her a little broody herself, adding: "They might have inspired me a little bit, but this ring finger got to get a little more heavy first!" Kelly has also fallen for the tot but was reluctant to disclose which of her parents the newborn looks like. Speaking at the BET Honors awards in Washington she told USA Today newspaper: "That will be something that everybody will have to experience the same way I did. That's for her parents to disclose, not myself." Kelly has previously been seen buying a bright green babygro with a picture of Bob Marley's face on it for Blue, and has said she can't wait to babysit her. She said: "I will babysit and change a diaper or two, and then give it back. I do want kids, but every time I think about a little person growing inside of me and getting bigger and bigger and then having to come out -- a watermelon coming out of something the size of a lemon is insane to me."

TMZ has obtained photos of the room where Blue Ivy came into this world, and it's baller. There are 4 flat screen TV's, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, nice art, mahogany walls and plush furnishings. And take a look at the bed where Jay Z got some shut eye! Beyonce, Jay-Z & Blue Ivy leave Lenox Hill Hospital

Klaudia//January 11, 2012
New parents Beyonce and Jay-Z and their bouncing bundle of joy, baby Blue, left Lenox Hill Hospital Tuesday, officials there confirmed. A procession of vehicles with blacked-out windows made a speedy exit from the upper East Side hospital’s side gate in the wee hours of Tuesday, witnesses said. Two black SUVs motored quickly out of the facility’s E. 76th St. loading dock at 1:30 a.m. Moments later, a van parked on a nearby corner reversed into the same loading dock, and the large roll-down gate closed. The gate reopened a few minutes later and the van drove out, turned the wrong way on the one-way 76th St., and then headed north on Park Ave. One of the two SUVs blocked traffic on Park Ave. so the van would not be impeded. The second SUV pulled in behind the van, apparently to prevent anyone from following the music icons and their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. It was “very precise, very military-like,” one witness said. “Immediately, security personnel began leaving the hospital.” Beyonce, 30, checked into the hospital Friday night using the name Ingrid Jackson, a hospital staffer told the Daily News. The couple brought their own bodyguards. The child was born Saturday night on the sixth floor, near the neonatal intensive-care unit, sources said.

Solange Launches Into Rant Over Beyonce Baby 'Lies'

Klaudia//January 11, 2012
It's meant to be one of the happiest times in a family's life - to welcome a newborn baby, but Aunty Solange Knowles has been left saddened and upset with the lies and rumours that have spread about her sister Beyonce and her baby Blue. Since the birth of Blue Ivy on Saturday (January 7) rumours about Jay-Z and Beyonce's $1 million spending spree has hit the internet, and the couple have even been slammed for allegedly hiring out a wing of the Lenox Hill hospital in New York - a claim that the hospital denies. Now Solange has had enough her family being "slandered, lied on (sic), and ridiculed". In a series of tweets yesterday, Solange wrote: "It has really gotten out of hand. I've been doing my best at keeping my mouth shut... but the ignorance is really sad and upsetting. "We are supposed to be super human and watch people we love get slandered, lied on (sic), and ridiculed. It is one of The hardest things to accept. "In any other workplace... if someone directly tells your (sic) mother or sister is a liar and a fake etc... you would naturally express yourself. However, the pure happiness and joy I've witnessed and experienced helps me to keep my mouth shut."

Kelly Rowland Buys Bob Marley Onesie for Blue Ivy

Klaudia//January 11, 2012
One love! Kelly Rowland is wasting no time spoiling pals Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s new baby girl. Just three days after the couple welcomed daughter Blue Ivy Carter, the U.K. X Factor judge popped into upscale kids boutique, Lucky Wang, in New York City to snap up a green long-sleeved onesie ($24) featuring Bob Marley’s iconic image. It seems the former Destiny’s Child member was able to figure out what to get the world’s most famous baby despite confessing she had no clue a few months ago. “I have no idea what I’m going to buy Beyoncé at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible,” Rowland told Bang Showbiz last November.

Jay-Z reveals Beyonce suffered miscarriage that ended earlier pregnancy

Klaudia//January 10, 2012
Jay-Z is celebrating the birth of his baby girl with an emotional new song that reveals the secret sorrow of a prior miscarriage. The doting dad, 42, gushed over the arrival of Blue Ivy Carter in the song “Glory” posted Monday to his website, dubbing the child the answer to his prayers after the devastating loss of wife Beyoncé Knowles’ earlier pregnancy. “Last time the miscarriage was so tragic. We was afraid you’d disappear, but nah baby you magic,” he raps, speaking about their private pain for the first time. He says “God makes no mistakes” and “there you have it, s--- happens,” finally conceding that everyone goes through “stuff,” even superstars. “The most amazing feeling I feel. Words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real,” he raps in the chorus. “Baby I paint the sky blue. My greatest creation was you.” Hours after the sentimental song’s release, the ultra-private power couple issued a joint statement offering details of their Saturday delivery. Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, says in his song that Beyonce conceived in Paris. He also predicted the lucky tyke will be shopping on London’s famous Savile Row as a toddler. “Get ready for Part II, a younger smarter faster me,” he raps. “Hard not to spoil you rotten, looking like little me,” he says. The touching tribute ends with the cries of a newborn baby — likely the first sounds from the couple’s first child. The song says it features B. I. C., the baby’s initials. “You’re a child of destiny. You’re the child of my destiny,” he raps. “You’re my child with the child from Destiny’s Child. That’s a hell of a recipe.”

Hospital denies Beyonce rented a whole floor for birth

Klaudia//January 10, 2012
This much everyone seems to agree on: Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed a "beautiful" baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter Saturday night at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital. But when it comes to reports that the couple and their private security detail had the entire sixth floor on lockdown, there's a difference of opinion. On one side there's Tanisha Newton, a 24-year-old expectant single mother of two. Newton tells E! News that she and her two young children were asked to leave the floor on Saturday night despite her own advanced pregnancy (she says she is due on Jan. 19). "I was almost restrained and so were my children. It was bad because look who they are. They been pushing, tugging, , 'Ma'am you have to move. This is a secluded area," vented Newton. Newton says that she also got a brief view of baby Blue, shortly after the delivery. "I don't remember the time but was coming out of the room and were protecting her like Michael Jackson's babies," said Newton. "I was really trying to see but I just caught a glimpse...she's beautiful." Newton wasn't alone in having gripes with what has been reported to be intense security. New dad Neil Coulson spoke out in the New York Daily News that he was kicked out of the neonatal intensive care unit on multiple occasions while visiting with his premature twin daughters. Per TMZ, some other new moms turning up for breastfeeding classes have even threatened to sue the hospital over their treatment. However, according to another hospital visitor, things weren't really that bad. A woman who had just visited a relative in the pediatric ward and wished to remain anonymous told E! News that she witnessed a number of individuals have run-ins with Beyonce and Jay-Z's security — presumably because they were trying to sneak too close to the action. But as long as visitors had appointments, they were allowed through.

Beyonce And Jay-Z Welcome Baby Girl

Klaudia//January 8, 2012
We were so ready for this belly, and now we're so psyched to meet this baby! Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed a daughter Saturday night in New York, the little one's arrival coming via scheduled C-section, mutliple sources confirm to E! News. And the pop 'n' hip-hop princess' name? Drumroll, please... Blue Ivy Carter! (At least that's what Jay-Z is telling pals at this point—the couple's reps have not immediately responded to calls seeking comment.) Friend and music mogul Russell Simmons was among the first to celebrate the arrival, tweeting the new parents: "congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z." Rihanna gave baby Blue a warm welcome, tweeting: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih." Hey, we're happy to find out this much, considering Blue's parents didn't even confirm to the world that they were married until...Wait? Did they ever really confirm it? (Public records ultimately told the tale.) Anyway, the "Crazy in Love" duo tied the knot in April 2008 after roughly six years of dating. Considering they waited another three years to have a baby, you can tell this is one couple that thinks things through! Beyoncé memorably revealed that she was pregnant onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. And her hubby certainly seems to be in the right head space, telling E! News in November that he hoped to be the kind of father whose children could talk to him about anything. "Your child could come to you and have any type of conversation. I always hope for that kind of open relationship," he said. Just imagine the rap sessions father and daughter will be having a few years from now!

Beyonce Baby Pictures: Why Singer Won't Sell Photos

Klaudia//January 4, 2012
Despite the rumors, Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby did not make its debut on New Year's Eve. But when the little bundle of joy does arrive, don't expect to catch a glimpse of Babyonce on the cover of a celebrity weekly. "They are one of the most private couples," one magazine editor told me. "We have made several offers to their people about running exclusive images of mother and baby and no one has responded." Today, some celebrity babies are splashed across the covers of weekly magazines before they've even opened their eyes. Often when such a deal is made, the contract stipulates that the baby cannot be seen in public for a few weeks before and/or after the magazine hits the newsstands. "If Beyonce and Jay-Z do decide to share their child with the world, they will probably go the same route as Tom Cruise and Katie ," the editor explains. "Instead of selling the images to a weekly publication, they would give them away for nothing to lock in a cover of a monthly like Vanity Fair. But knowing this couple, it is unlikely we will ever see a staged picture of the child." A spokesperson for Vanity Fair declined to comment. Brad and Angelina broke the record when they sold images of their twins, Knox and Vivienne, for upwards of $12 million, with the understanding that the proceeds would be donated to charity. Other celebrities who have sold baby pictures include Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Alba, Jamie Lynn Spears and Tori Spelling. But Beyonce and Jay-Z are so private that, after their 2008 wedding, they refused to even confirm they had tied the knot. "Everyone reached out to the couple to buy wedding pictures and they refused," an industry insider revealed. "They have an estimated net worth of over $700 million. It's not like they need the money."

Jay-Z Joins Beyonce's Pregnancy Diet

Klaudia//December 16, 2011
Jay-Z is eating like a pregnant woman! The 42-year-old dad-to-be is supporting Beyonce by dieting with her. A source tells the new Us Weekly -- on stands Friday -- that the duo are maintaining a "partially vegan diet." "Jay's trying to be disciplined, and he needs the energy to support her," a source adds. Beyonce, 30, isn't going to let herself go just because she's expecting! "I've been really conscious ," she told 20/20. "I've been trying my best not to lose control!" Jay and Bey's commitment to healthy living seems to be paying off. A source tells Us that Monday night the duo were "dancing up a storm" at The Spare Room gaming lounge at the Hollywood Roosevelt. "They were loved up and sweet together partied until 4 a.m.!" The next night, Beyonce and Jay-Z partied once again! This time, the couple hung out with Serena Williams, Kanye West and friends at Watch The Throne's after party.

Beyonce Unloads Miami Property at a Loss

Klaudia//December 14, 2011
Making some changes in her life before baby gets here, Beyoncé has sold her Miami beachfront property, but took quite the loss on it. According to public records obtained by TMZ, the “Love on Top” songstress purchased the tiny cabana located in a swanky condo complex back in 2002 for $465,000. She recently sold the 190-square foot place with only one ½ bathroom for $110,000, which was below her asking price of $135,000 and way below what she originally paid for it. The quaint beach house was rumored to be a changing place for B and her guests and for the use of the private bathroom instead of trekking all the way to the condo from the beach and/or pool.
