T.I. Receives Beyoncé’s Blessing for Remix

Klaudia//December 20, 2012
The King, T.I., held court with the Queen when he remixed Beyoncé’s “Dance for You” earlier this year. But he first he got approval from Bey herself. He called up Pharrell, who happened to be in the studio with the “Single Ladies” singer, and asked if she supported his idea to add a verse.

“That very night, I did it and got it back to them, and they gave me the nod of approval and I ran with it,” Tip told Rap-Up TV.

T.I. is aware that Bey has a new album on the way and he’s more than willing to help out. “She has full knowledge of the fact that if she needs me for anything that I am there at the drop of a hat,” he said.

Beyoncé Graces Stage For Barclays Center Finale

Klaudia//October 7, 2012
Jay-Z has earned the right to be a little bit selfish. No doubt Hov could've called on music's biggest stars and maybe even President Barack Obama to stroll out during any of his eight shows at Brooklyn's new Barclays Center, but he kept his guest list to a minimum electing to soak in all of the hometown glory mostly for himself. But on Saturday (October 6) night's Barclays finale Mr. Carter brought out one very special guest, his wife Beyoncé.

After running through the couple's duet " '03 Bonnie & Clyde" by his lonesome, Jiggaman made way for wifey who came stomping out to the tune of her 2008 single "Diva." Flanked by a number of dances, Bey who rocked black leather shorts and a matching Brooklyn Nets cap strutted across stage before launching into the crowd favorite "Crazy in Love."

Women of Hollywood Rally for Obama

Klaudia//October 2, 2012
Beyonce, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lopez and more of Hollywood's most powerful women are urging female voters to let their voices be heard in a new campaign video in support of President Barack Obama.

" has the story that I can tell my daughter, because it shows that no matter where you start out, you can work hard and you can do whatever you put your mind to," said new mom Beyonce.

The singer is a well known supporter of the president, as she and her husband Jay-Z hosted an exclusive fundraiser for the reelection campaign last month. And who could forget Beyonce's rendition of the Etta James' classic At Last at the Inaugural Ball?

"Women will help decide this election," states Jennifer Lopez.

"Every vote counts," Julianne Moore agrees. "Every voice counts."

The video, made by Women for Obama, also features Eva Longoria, Jane Lynch, Padma Lakshmi, Sheryl Crow, Kerry Washington, Cecile Richards, Ashley Judd, Gloria Steinem, Olivia Wilde and Juliana Margulies.

Sean Paul Calls Beyonce/Jay-Z Beef Rumors 'Crazy'

Klaudia//September 19, 2012
Sean Paul is no stranger to hit records, and his latest LP, Tomahawk Technique, will no doubt house its fair share of memorable cuts. Still, no matter what the season, one of SP's biggest tracks will also be "Baby Boy," his 2003 collaboration with Beyoncé. Not only did the track earn the pair some major airplay and RIAA hardware, it also got the rumor mill spinning.

Though Sean Paul appeared in the track's video, which was directed by Jake Nava, he and the pop queen were filmed separately. "The whole direction of the video was sold to me as, 'You're in a dream world,' " Sean Paul said when he appeared on "RapFix Live" on September 12. "It was not a big deal to me, but it really blew up into crazy stuff."

When SP wasn't onstage with Beyoncé for her 2003 MTV VMA performance, many speculated that B's now-hubby Jay-Z had blocked the Jamaica-born dancehall star from getting his shine on. But on "RapFix Live," Sean Paul denied those rumors.

"That's a rumor that started. I've known Jay-Z from before I knew her," he said, recalling a time that he sat in Hov's former Roc-A-Fella offices getting lessons on radio politics from the iconic MC.

They say there is no such thing as bad publicity, so rather than address the rumor, Sean Paul just let it linger. "The general public blew it up in certain things. I just remained quiet about it for years because it was doing its work. There was just a lot of controversy," he said. "She's an amazing artist, the song was at #1 for like nine weeks, so that was a very special time for me and for dancehall."
