Solange dishes about Beyonce

Klaudia//November 14, 2012
Solange Knowles is a singer, artist, mom, sister and aunt and is part of one of the most famous families in the world. Beyonce's little sis recently chatted with New York magazine about babysitting her niece Blue Ivy, her sisterly bond with Bey and creating new music. Check out the highlights:

On growing closer to Beyonce after her divorce: It was a time "when you really, really need your sister. Every time there was drama and I was all the way in Idaho, it was nice to be able to call. Now it's kind of a reversal, with her getting married and having a baby after me."

On raising her son Julez and niece Blue Ivy together: "Blue (10 months) comes over, I babysit," says Solange. "(Beyoncé) takes Julez (8) sometimes for the weekend. (Blue) and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins."

Beyonce & Jay-Z Get Blacked Out After Hurricane Sandy

Klaudia//November 2, 2012
Hurricane Sandy might have put Jay-Z and Beyonce in the dark, but it can't keep them down.

Pop's power couple got turnt up for a Halloween bash full of A-Listers at Cipriani on 42nd street in New York City.

Dita Von Teese, Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe and more were on hand at the event, which was originally supposed to be held at Cipriani's downtown location, but was moved since downtown NYC is still without power thanks to the storm.

Russell Crowe proved he was indeed the only Russell in the building that night when he tweeted:

"Leo, jay Z, Beyoncé, Jonah, Dita, what a room, Cipriani 42nd St, amazing space, explodes on Halloween."

Jay and Bey were forced from their home when their $6.86 million pad in Tribeca went black. At least they still know how to live that life uptown!

Beyoncé Is Not Pregnant, Says Jay-Z

Klaudia//September 28, 2012
Blue Ivy isn't becoming a big sister anytime soon.

Despite a flush of rumors claiming Beyoncé was pregnant, Jay-Z exclusively told E! News he and his wife are not expecting their second child just yet.

"Are you having another baby?" we asked Hov Wednesday night at the NBA 2K13 release at the 40/40 Club in NYC.

"Tonight?" Jay-Z quipped. "No."

"What about in nine months?" we prodded.

"Not in nine months," Jay said. "Absolutely not."

But before then? What about in seven or eight months?

"No," Jay said. "Not in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight or nine months."

Hear that, rumormongers? Definitely no baby on board for Hov and Bey.

Beyonce "Loves" Kim Kardashian, Says Pal

Klaudia//September 8, 2012
No need to ring the alarm: Beyonce and Kim Kardashian are getting along just fine, thanks.

A new report on Radar Online claims that the singer and reality star, both 31, clashed at the Budweiser Made in America festival in Philadelphia last weekend -- with Jay-Z's wife angrily confronting Kanye West's girlfriend for hogging the cameras of a documentary film crew. (Director Ron Howard is making a film about rapper and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, 42.)

"That report is absurd," a source close to Beyonce tells Us Weekly. Indeed, the "I Was Here" singer "loves Kim," and "there's absolutely no beef."

What really went down at the concert? "When Beyonce saw Kim at the concert, she ran over and gave her the biggest hug," the source explains, adding that Blue Ivy's mom eventually joined Kardashian in the dressing room after watching her husband of four years perform.

Beyonce's Friend Rubbishes 'Diva' Reports

Klaudia//August 13, 2012
Beyonce's friend has been forced to jump to her defence over claims she acted like a diva when they were filming a reality show.

The 'Run The World (Girls)' singer met up with husband Jay-Z at midtown lounge XVI on Thursday night where CEO of Star Vodka Charles Ferri was filming scenes for the new Oxygen series Girlfriend Confidential: NY.

Initial reports claimed Beyonce demanded the cameras be turned off while she spent time at the venue, however, Ferri has rubbished the reports.

"Beyonce was exceptionally accommodating while the filming was going on," Ferri told the New York Daily News.

What actually happened, according to Ferri, is that producer Jeff Krauss approached him to announce Bey was "in the house," but they continued to film while she was there.

Jay-Z had been in the bar since 9:30pm with Swizz Beatz to catch a performance of Madame Mayhem and a deejaying set from Talib Kweli. Rather than act like a diva as was reported, Bey happily hung out for an hour after she arrived at 11pm.
