Kelly Rowland is thrilled that her sister in life and music, Beyoncé Knowles, is pregnant with her first child — but that doesn't mean K.Ro's ready to take on 40 weeks of morning sickness, strange cravings and swollen feet. "I'm so happy for her and her husband and just excited to be an auntie — part two. First it was Julez," Rowland told MTV News, referring to Solange Knowles' 6-year-old, when we caught up with her on her tour bus during the New York leg of Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. Tour. "Now it's a new baby on the rise; it's gonna to be so exciting." But when we suggested Kelly might be the next to bare a bump on MTV's VMA stage, the onetime "Destiny's Child" diva nearly spilled the blue plastic cup of post-concert something-something she had been sipping. "Kids!? Unh-unh," she laughed, tucking a jumpsuit-clad leg firmly underneath her as a towering pair of heels lay on the floor of the warmly lit bus. "I'll help take care of my 'sister' and her husband's baby first. I'm not ready for babies yet. I can watch them take care of this little baby." Still, Rowland said she'd have no problem pitching in on diaper duty when the superstar couple needed to get away for one of their well-documented date nights. Whether they're sharing a plate at Nello's in NYC or heading to Brooklyn to cheer on the Nets, B and Hov can count on Kelly. "I get to babysit, yes," she smiled. "It's a wonderful moment," the "Motivation" singer added. "I just saw my sister today, and I got a chance to rub her tummy."

Now that they are going to have a baby, will Jay-Z and Beyoncé move to Brooklyn? "I have been thinking about it, but the prices over there are really high," Jay says. "It's not like before!" He also says of becoming a father: "I'm excited! I think that is pretty easy."

When my Senior Editor sent me a text late one night that only read “URGENT!!!” (preceded by two phone calls back to back), I was worried. Then when I responded and she only casually asked me about my plans for the next day, I was confused (and annoyed). It was only then she said, “No, you’re interviewing Beyonce.” And then I was happy. For the same reason (skepticism), I didn’t tell anybody either – hid it from my friends, family & co-workers – which I discovered is a lot like trying to hide the fact that you’re…well, pregnant. (Oh, me and Bey, one and the same! Not.) But that’s how it went down. I spent the rest of the night treating the interview as if it were a date, trying on clothes and tearing them off. Things I’d had for years suddenly didn’t fit. Things that once complemented each other were now clashing. Your mind really starts to unravel once it finds out it’s going to meet Beyonce. Just completely deteriorates. You become convinced (convinced, I tell you!) that if you dress just well enough, she’ll be so impressed, she’ll make you her stylist. And that if you ask the right question – one she hasn’t heard in her 15 years in the business – she’ll be so dazzled, she’ll make you her publicist. All current position-holders will be fired. You and Beyonce are now best friends. Now, try going to sleep knowing that your life’s about to change. TRY!

Now that Beyonce is pregnant, there are certain smells that turn her stomach. “My nose, I smell everything from a mile away,” Beyonce said during an interview with The Associated Press while wearing a long, flowing purple dress, her baby bump showing. “Usually it is food, it is onions or something that I just can’t tolerate.” Her new fragrance is not one of them. On Wednesday, Beyonce was busy promoting Pulse, her third scent. For the creator of girl-power anthems like “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and “Run the World (Girls),” Pulse represents another extension of that theme. “I always meet strong, powerful women and they always have a signature scent,” the 30-year-old said. “That is one of the first things I was so proud of. I thought about Diamonds and Elizabeth Taylor and all these icons, so I am so proud of this.”

AP: How is this fragrance different from your others?

Beyonce: This is very fresh. This is all about citrus, but it also has vanilla in the back. It is important for me for a fragrance not to just smell like one thing. I think women are interesting and I don’t like for you to be like, “Ok, this smells like this.” I like for it to be something signature and something that brings out your inner beauty and your confidence and makes you feel like you leave a long-lasting impression on someone.

Beyonce: I grew up in a fabric store. Unfortunately my mother would say: "Come on let's go to the fabric store," and she would make all of these beautiful clothes for myself and the other ladies of Destiny's Child, and after so many years my fans said we want to buy these clothes somewhere, so it was a natural thing for us to do this line, and it's so great for us to be able to do it together, number one because we get to spend time together, and two because we have such respect for each others' taste.

Becky: Tina what is it like to see not just your daughter but your designs on television?

Tina Knowles: Oh it's unbelievable sometimes and I never anticipated that. I started designing things out of necessity because there were budgetary restraints. So I would buy fabrics instead of clothes and just make them.

Beyonce: Back in those days they wouldn't loan us the clothes.

Tina: And it's funny when you need the clothes they won't loan them to you, and when you don't need them everyone wants to give them to you, so that's how it started but that was very exciting to see the clothes on TV.

According to Now magazine, the former Destiny's Child star is taking no chances when it comes to her first pregnancy, with an insider claiming the huge amount of cash will be spend on her health. A source told the publication: "Beyoncé's waited a long time to have a baby and she's determined to take good care of herself." “She's paying a dietician to organise a food plan of natural organic meals for her, she's having daily massages and she's spent a fortune on lotions to prevent stretch marks and keep her feeling good.” They added: "Beyoncé's been told to look after herself like never before and Jay Z's making sure she has everything she needs.”

Solange Knowles says she’s a proud auntie already, even though Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby hasn’t arrived yet. And the parents know the baby’s gender and have started thinking of names. At a New York Fashion Week party at Denise Rich’s penthouse overlooking Central Park, Solange said she’s known about Beyonce’s pregnancy for awhile. “I certainly didn’t find out the way you guys did,” she said, referring to Beyonce’s baby-bump display at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. Solange – dressed in a yellow Thakoon dress and Fendi shoes — said the couple already knows the baby’s gender, and has been choosing a name, but both are being kept under wraps for now. Solange, herself a mother, just relocated to Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, from Los Angeles, and sent her son to first grade this past week. She’s also working on a new record.

Singer Beyonce Knowles, who is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z, is taking pregnancy advice from actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has two children. "Gwyneth has known about this pregnancy for over a month and has been telling Beyonce to drink a shot of wheatgrass each morning and to rub her belly with coconut oil to prevent stretch marks," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying. "She's also advised her to meditate for an hour every day and soak her feet in ice water to prevent swelling," the source added.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have scored invites to Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ wedding set to take place August 20 in Montecito, California.
