Amazon Releases Destiny's Child Documentary

Klaudia//February 23, 2018
The newly released Documentary "Girls Tyme - Making a Child of Destiny (The Andretta Tillman Story)," shares never before seen interviews from key people who influenced Beyoncé and Destiny's Child on their rise to fame. The documentary includes clips of rare unseen performance footage of the Flawless star and the rest of her Girls Tyme crew.

Produced from largely previously unreleased footage and personal interviews, the documentary examines Andretta Tillman's life as the driving force in launching Queen Beyoncé and Destiny's Child's legendary careers, as well as many other Houstonian artists, who also rose to fame under Andretta's management.

"We felt an obligation to show the world the true impact of Andretta's irreplaceable contribution to the success of Queen Bey and her Destiny's Child band mates. We opened the vault of Andretta Tillman's estate to provide the viewer with an understanding that, what you see Beyoncé and Destiny's Child doing on stage today, was rooted in them through Andretta's irreplaceable influence and tutelage, from way back in the early 1990's as young ladies in Girls Tyme. Where they are today, is a direct result of the solid foundation Andretta Tillman taught them." cited Executive Producer of the documentary, Brian "Kenny" Moore (from whose book the documentary evolved).

"We at Dousic are delighted to have secured a partnership with Amazon to ensure the documentary reaches the masses. We are giving Beyoncé and Destiny's Child fans an up-close look at the excitement, distresses and sacrifices made to elevate the band to stardom, by revealing the hidden part of their story of Andretta's enormous contribution and sacrifice that has not been told, or has hitherto been omitted," said Michael Ferguson, Executive VP of Dousic Media Group.

The documentary features interviews with Gospel great Kathy Taylor, Original Girls Tyme/Destiny's Child members Nina and Niki Taylor. Former Co-manager Kenny Moore, Hip Hop Producer Cory Mo, Former Rap a Lot recording group Flajj, Destiny's Child first choreographer Harlon Bell, and members of Andretta Tillman's family.

Tim Rice joins Elton John & Beyonce for Lion King soundtrack

Klaudia//February 11, 2018
The pair created one of the most memorable movie soundtracks ever for The Lion King 25 years ago.

And now Sir Elton John will be returning to the studio with theatre legend Tim Rice — as well as superstar Beyonce — for Disney’s live-action remake.

The Sun revealed last month that Bey had reached out to Elton to ask if they could work on the soundtrack together and now the Rocket Man has confirmed that they intend to collaborate on a new song for the eagerly anticipated movie.

In an exclusive interview, Elton told the Sun: “They need to have a new end credits song.

"There’s going to be four of our songs in the film, from the original: Can You Feel The Love Tonight? Hakuna Matata, I Just Can’t Wait To Be King and Circle of Life.

“And then there will be an end, closing song, and we’ve been speaking to Beyonce’s people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something.

“That’s going out in 2019 as well. And it will be great to work with her. So we will see.”

'Perfect' No. 1 on Hot 100 for 5th Week

Klaudia//January 9, 2018
Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé's "Perfect" tops the Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth week. The song also takes over as the most-heard hit on U.S. radio, reaching No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart.

"Perfect," released on Atlantic Records -- first as a solo track by Sheeran on his album ÷ (Divide) -- spends a sixth week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 109,000 downloads sold (down 34 percent) in the week ending Jan. 4, according to Nielsen Music.

The song also lifts 2-1 on the Radio Songs tally, up 7 percent to 139 million audience impressions in the week ending Jan. 7 (with radio playing both Sheeran's original solo version and the duet). Sheeran scores his second Radio Songs leader, following ÷ lead single "Shape of You," which reigned for 12 weeks beginning last Feb. 25.

Beyoncé adds her sixth solo Radio Songs No. 1 and first in nearly nine years. Her previous toppers: "Crazy in Love," featuring JAY-Z (eight weeks, 2003); "Baby Boy," featuring Sean Paul (nine, 2003); "Check on It," featuring Slim Thug (three, 2006); "Irreplaceable" (11, 2006-97); and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" (five, 2009). Beyoncé first ruled Radio Songs as a member of Destiny's Child with four singles (consecutively) in 2000-01: "Say My Name," "Jumpin', Jumpin'," "Independent Women Part 1" and "Survivor."

On Streaming Songs, which "Perfect" led for a week, the song slips 2-4 with 36.4 million U.S. streams (down 4 percent) in the week ending Jan. 4.

'Perfect' Tops Billboard Hot 100 for Third Week

Klaudia//December 27, 2017
Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé's "Perfect" rules the Billboard Hot 100 for a third week, remaining the top-selling song of the week and ranking as the most-streamed title for the first time.

Sheeran and Beyoncé's "Perfect," released through Atlantic Records, and first as a solo song by Sheeran on his album ÷ (Divide), spends a fourth week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, up 55 percent to 151,000 downloads sold in the week ending Dec. 21, according to Nielsen Music, good for the Hot 100's top sales gain. Aiding its momentum: its new "Perfect Symphony" version with Andrea Bocelli (which accounts for 32 percent of the song's total sales for the week).

"Perfect" also takes over atop the Streaming Songs chart, gaining by 9 percent to 43.4 million U.S. streams in the week ending Dec. 21. Sheeran scores his second Streaming Songs No. 1, following "Shape of You" (four weeks on top beginning March 25), as does Beyoncé, whose "Drunk in Love," featuring JAY-Z, led for four weeks in 2014.

Eminem Premieres "Walk On Water" Video

Klaudia//December 23, 2017
Well here it is, the first video off Revival has arrived. A couple days ago, Eminem took to his social media to tease the upcoming video for “Walk On Water” featuring Beyonce, and now to kick off the Holiday weekend he’s decided to go ahead and liberate the full thing exclusively on Apple Music however.

The 5-minute video finds Em performing in a dark room with a mic stand, before taking a seat in a classroom set up, along with a ton of other Eminem clones, typing on an old school typer writer. The scene looks to be an re-enactment of French mathematician Émile Borel’s famous “infinite monkey theorem,” thanks to the homework of HHNM.

Unfortunately, Beyonce doesn’t make an appearance in the video, but after all she wasn’t even supposed to be featured on this song anyways. It was recently revealed that Adele was originally planned for the feature, but it didn’t work out due to her damaging her vocals chords earlier this year.

Check out the new video RIGHT HERE and peep a snippet below.

"Perfect" Still No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100

Klaudia//December 19, 2017

In its second full tracking week, it sold 98,000 downloads (down 46 percent), as it spends a third week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

Ed Sheeran & Beyonce's 'Perfect' Tops Billboard Hot 100

Klaudia//December 12, 2017
Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé's "Perfect" crowns the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Dec. 23), fueled in large part by the first full week of sales for its new duet version.

"Perfect," released on Atlantic Records (and the 1,069th No. 1 in the Hot 100's history, which dates to its Aug. 4, 1958, launch), was first released as a solo song by Sheeran on his album ÷ (Divide), which debuted atop the Billboard 200 dated March 25. On Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. ET, the new duet version was released, hours before the end of the sales and streaming tracking week. In its first full tracking week, ending Dec. 7, the song sold 181,000 downloads, up 202 percent, according to Nielsen Music, as it spends a second week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

Plus, as the duet version accounts for 63 percent of the song's total sales for the week, Beyoncé has been added on the Hot 100 (and related charts) as a co-lead artist on "Perfect." (For chart purposes, both versions of "Perfect" contribute to the song's singular listing on the Hot 100.)

"Perfect" flies 11-3 on the Streaming Songs chart with 34.9 million U.S. streams, up 87 percent, in the tracking week ending Dec. 7, while, on Radio Songs, it pushes 4-3 (102 million in audience, up 14 percent, in the week ending Dec. 10).

'Perfect' Aiming for No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100

Klaudia//December 7, 2017
Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé's "Perfect" could top next week's Billboard Hot 100 (dated Dec. 23), fueled most heavily by a hefty first full week of sales for its new duet version.

On this week's Hot 100 (dated Dec. 16), "Perfect" pushes from No. 5 to a new No. 3 high, aided by a partial first day of impact from the new version. It ranks below Post Malone's "Rockstar," featuring 21 Savage, at No. 1 for an eighth week, and Camila Cabello's "Havana," featuring Young Thug, at its No. 2 peak for a fifth frame.

Highlights of next week's Hot 100, which blends streaming, airplay and sales data, according to Nielsen Music, will post on Billboard.com Monday (Dec. 11).

"Perfect" was first released as a solo song by Sheeran on his album ÷ (Divide), which debuted atop the Billboard 200 dated March 25. Last Thursday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. ET, the new duet version was released, hours before the end of the sales and streaming tracking week. In the tracking week ending tonight, Dec. 7, the song should sell 160,000 or more downloads, according to preliminary data. Such a sum could be enough to propel "Perfect" past "Rockstar" and crown the Hot 100.

For chart purposes, both versions of "Perfect" will contribute to the song's singular listing on the Hot 100. Additionally, following the first full week of tracking for the duet version, which could account for two-thirds of the song's sales in the week, Beyoncé will be added on the Hot 100 as a credited artist on "Perfect."

Klaudia//December 5, 2017
Ed Sheeran is set to claim his fourth Number 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart as his latest single Perfect - newly re-worked as a duet with Beyonce - leads the way on the Official Chart Update.

Perfect originally entered the chart at Number 4 back in March, when he released his ÷ album. Last week the track matched its original peak after being given an official single release, and is now set to take this week's top spot after putting out a new version of the song with Beyonce.

If Perfect holds at Number 1, it will become Ed’s fourth UK chart topper following Sing, Thinking Out Loud and Shape of You.

Ed Sheeran Opens Up About Beyonce Duet

Klaudia//December 4, 2017
Getting a hold of Beyonce isn't easy, but Ed Sheeran managed to do it.

ET's Keltie Knight caught up with the 26-year-old singer at KIIS-FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on Friday, where he revealed how he was able to snag the superstar for a duet.

"I have an email address I email ," Sheeran revealed, adding that the singer's email address "actually changes every week." "So I emailed that and we got on the phone, and it's been in the works since May."

"Obviously she had twins , and we finished in September, so I've been holding onto it since then," he continued of "Perfect," which was released on Thursday.

According to Sheeran, Bey recorded the song in just one take -- and even had input on the track's instrumentals.

"The original version of ‘Perfect’ was just an acoustic guitar and she rung me up and was like, ‘I don’t know how you feel about this but I’ve taken all the instruments off it and it's just gonna be acoustic guitar,’ and I was like, ‘Ah that’s great, because it used to be that!'" he revealed. "Then when we got in together, it wasn’t so much notes, it was very much like a back and forth thing, like, ‘What’d you think of this?' Or 'What do you think of this?’ and probably in the studio for four hours."

"She was just like, 'Right!' Went in, one take, came out, like, 'Yeah, that sounds alright!'" he confessed.

See more on the duet in the video below.
