Beyonce Takes Full Control of Ivy Park Clothing Line

Klaudia//November 15, 2018
Beyonce's Parkwood has cut ties with British retail magnate Philip Green, ending a 50/50 partnership that culminated in the launch of her athleisure clothing brand Ivy Park.

Green has recently been accused of sexual harassment, bullying and racial abuse of staff at his companies. He was named in parliament last month as having taken steps to prevent publication of the allegations. The billionaire owns the Arcadia Group, parent of Topshop, which reportedly owned half of Ivy Park.

"After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100 percent of the Ivy Park brand," Ivy Park said in a statement, adding that Topshop stores will fulfill any existing orders for Ivy Park clothing.

The deal was originally reported by the Financial Times. Financial details were not disclosed.

The Topshop-backed line of fashion-forward bodysuits, leggings, crop tops and other sporty gear made its debut in March 2016, "creating a new kind of performance wear: modern essentials for both on and off the field," the company said at the time.

Subsequent marketing campaigns have featured SZA, Black-ish star Yara Shahidi and model Sophie Koella, among others.

'Star Is Born' Producer on Why Beyonce, Clint Eastwood Remake Never Happened

Klaudia//November 11, 2018
With the success of Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut, A Star is Born, it’s hard to imagine any other actors portraying the roles of Jack and Ally other than Cooper and Lady Gaga. But at one point in time, Beyonce and Clint Eastwood were the stars of the show.

“There was a moment where that was the best version of the movie and then all of a sudden, Beyonce got pregnant. Do we wait?” Bill Gerber, the film’s producer told The Hollywood Reporter. “She was amazing about all this stuff. She always understood if we were going to take a different direction. And then Clint went off and did another movie.”

Speaking on the first meeting of Beyonce and Eastwood, Gerber explained, “I’m sitting there thinking, ‘I think I’m watching something historic about to happen,’ and then it didn’t. It’s just the movie business.”

We all need each other, because when we are truly united we are unstoppable. Sending you all love and positivity on this happy voting day!
Every vote counts
Every race matters

Roseivyou Instagram account isn’t secretly for Beyoncé

Klaudia//October 24, 2018
Earlier this week, the mysterious Roseivyou Instagram account popped up leaving many to speculate it was a major hint that a new Beyoncé is on the way; a few guesses being a Netflix special and even a joint album with Kelly Rowland.

With the Queen's love of hints (like 2015 Instagram posts with lemons during a time she would likely have been working on 2016's Lemonade), it made sense to many that something was going on, coupled with a video Kelly Rowland posted of herself singing along to an unreleased track with the lyrics "Rose petals at my feet," and rose emojis in the video's caption just a week before the account showed up. A source close to Beyoncé tells The FADER, however, that this account has nothing to do with the singer.

Fans have been deconstructing the page and its posts in the last few days, figuring out that the vocals in the snippet are actually from Beyonce's "Grown Woman", despite the account amassing over 23k followers in just a few days.

I guess we can all unfollow now.

On the Run II Tour Finishes with More Than $250 Million

Klaudia//October 24, 2018
They say it’s a marathon, not a sprint. But for Beyoncé and JAY-Z, it was both. Their sprawling On the Run II Tour finished with $253.5 million in the bank, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

The trek wrapped Oct. 4 at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field, the last of the 48 stadium dates they played, after beginning June 6 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. From there, the dynamic duo played 18 shows throughout Europe, peaking at London Stadium’s two-night engagement with $11 million grossed and more than 125,000 tickets sold. After a few final shows in France, including their debut performance of “APESHIT” in Paris, they crossed the pond for 30 North American shows, with doubles in Landover, Md.; East Rutherford, N.J.; Chicago; Atlanta; Houston; and Pasadena, Calif. The biggest earner of the tour was the Aug. 25-26 engagement at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, grossing $14.1 million.

On the Run II is the sequel to 2014’s On the Run Tour, a massive success in its own right. Billboard named it the Top R&B/Hip-Hop tour of the year, coming in at No. 8 on 2014's overall Top Tours list, with three appearances on the year-end Top Boxscores ranking. The original trek grossed $109.6 million from 980,000 tickets sold.

But despite the high bar set four years ago, On the Run II expanded The Carters’ worldwide reach. The $253.5 million haul of this year’s run represents a 132 percent increase over the original’s gross. While one might worry that expanding from 21 sold-out stadium dates to 48 would be spreading oneself thin, Beyoncé and JAY-Z were still able to increase their average per-show gross, maintaining a pace of $5.28 million each night.

Beyonce And Kelly Rowland Joint Album Rumored To Be On The Way

Klaudia//October 16, 2018
Hive, alert! It looks like there very well may be another joint album with Beyoncé attached on the way…but this time, it’s not with her husband. It looks like Bey’s partner in crime will be none other than her sister in Destiny, Kelly Rowland. At least, that’s what we have in the way of fan speculation at the moment…

Sharp-eyed IG users noticed an ominous, yet unexplained countdown appear on the official “Everything is Love” album page, followed by an also unexplained rose, before finally dropping a snippet that has what sounds like a couple of very familiar voices harmonizing while a rose blooms.

With the name “Rose IV You” attached and the only accounts following being Tidal, Kelly’s, and Beyoncé’s…it sounds very much like this may be a new project from the two OG Destiny’s Children.
