John Probyn, Oxegen's festival director, said: "We're always striving to bring the biggest and best music talent to Oxegen and they really don't come any bigger than Beyonce. "She is a truly incredible artist and an amazing live performer. This year we've got most of the artists headlining the UK's major festivals on one bill. "It's all about giving fans real value for money and delivering an unforgettable experience." Tickets for Oxegen 2011 are on sale now from €99.50 (£89).

Beyonce not performing at Royal Wedding

Klaudia//April 25, 2011
Beyoncé will not be performing at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on 29 April, a representative for the singer has confirmed. The source told Entertainment Tonight that “the ceremony is not on her schedule and she has a shoot in New York on Saturday”. British newspaper the Daily Star originally reported that the royal couple were huge fans of the R&B star and her rapper husband Jay-Z and wanted them both to perform at their wedding. A source told the UK newspaper: 'Both William and Kate are massive fans of Beyoncé and Jay-Z. They really wanted to make their big day even more special and what better way than by getting pop royalty to perform at the party?” The source added: 'They both wanted to ditch traditions and make it more personal for them… it's highly likely they have taken up the Royals' offer.'

Klaudia//April 24, 2011
With the royal wedding just around the corner, it is no surprise that there is also huge anticipation surrounding the wedding party. Superstar couple Beyonce and Jay-Z have reportedly been asked to perform at the royal wedding reception of Prince William and Kate Middleton. A source told the Daily Star: "They really wanted to make their big day more special and what better way than by getting pop royalty to perform at the party? "Will and Kate have an official reception for hundreds of dignitaries before throwing a less formal bash for loved-ones." The Palace refused to confirm or deny whether the stars have accepted the invite.

Beyoncé to team with Jay-Z at Glastonbury?

Klaudia//April 14, 2011
Beyoncé is planning a string of collaborations for her headline slot at this year's Glastonbury festival. The 'Single Ladies' star is thought to have recruited husband Jay-Z and friend Kanye West to appear on stage with her during the final performance slot of the festival's three-day lineup, reports The Mirror. It has also been suggested that showbiz couple Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow could take to the stage with Beyoncé on June 26. Beyoncé was present when Jay-Z controversially headlined the festival back in 2007, but she did not join him on stage for a performance. The other headliners for the festival are confirmed to be U2 and Coldplay. The sold-out event runs from June 24 to June 26. Beyoncé - currently shooting the video for her new single in California - is expected to play new material as part of her setlist.

5 Best Singers/Dancers in Pop Music Today

Klaudia//March 6, 2011
#5. Ciara
The R&B star maximized her krumping skills as the genre swept American in the early 00's -- but while subsequent styles have bumped the frenetic full body spasm out of popular favor, her "music" has similarly suffered. Bottom line: she's one fresh face away from being permanently cut from this list
Best Moves: "1, 2 Step" video

#4. Lady GaGa
Forging an early bond with choreographer du jour Laurieann Gibson has served GaGa well over the last three years as she's eschewed standard moves for more atypical, yet no less popular, creations.
Best Moves: "Bad Romance" at The 2009 AMA's

#3. Rihanna
Although she's been making club-banging dance music since the jump, Rihanna's career wasn't predicated on being able to shake that ass like her fans do. This all changed with the release of her latest CD, "Loud" and the gyration-heavy performances she's been serving up with "What's My Name."
Best Moves: "What's My Name" at the 2011 Grammys

#2. Nicole Scherzinger
When you front a group born out of a burlesque dance club, odds are you can slam it to the ground and shake it all around with the best of them. But the biggest surprise about the Pussycat Dolls' queen bee has been her consistent ability to serve up hard-hitting routines while singing live.
Best Moves: "When I Grow Up"

#1. Beyonce
Was there any doubt B would snag the top slot? If you thought otherwise, I don't know what you've been doing for the last 15 years, but it certainly wasn't watching a single live performance -- be it in concert or on television -- as the megastar consistently devoted every ounce of her to the routine. And the fact she was able to do it night after night on her seemingly endless I Am Sasha Fierce Tour makes Beyonce's professionalism and skill all the more impressive,
Best Moves: "Single Ladies" on 2008 AMA's

Statement on Beyonce's St. Barts performance

Klaudia//March 3, 2011
Statement regarding Beyoncé and her performance in St. Barts from Yvette Noel-Schure (Publicist): "All monies paid to Beyoncé for her performance at a private party at Nikki Beach St. Barts on New Year's Eve 2009, including the commissions paid to her booking agency, were donated to the earthquake relief efforts for Haiti, over a year ago. Once it became known that the third party promoter was linked to the Qaddafi family, the decision was made to put that payment to a good cause."

Emily Eavis booked Beyonce to keep Glastonbury 'diverse'

Klaudia//February 16, 2011
Emily Eavis has explained why she booked Beyonce as a headliner for Glastonbury this year. After the announcement last week (February 11) that the former Destiny’s Child singer was headlining the Somerset event, Eavis said she was keen to keep the festival as "diverse" as possible. She told Glastonburyfestivals.co.uk: “We are really keen to keep the line-up as diverse as possible. It's always been that way. We really want the people who are the masters of their fields, and that's what she is.” She added: “I went to see her live last year and was blown away by the might of the show. She has such soul, an amazing voice with an incredible, all-female band. She knows how to deliver live, and she packs a big punch – it's gonna explode!”

Beyonce Confirms Glastonbury Gig

Klaudia//February 11, 2011
R&B superstar Beyonce is "pumped" to follow in her husband Jay-Z's groundbreaking footsteps and headline Britain's biggest rock festival Glastonbury in June. Speculation started earlier this week that the Crazy In Love hitmaker would be one of the big acts to play to thousands of music fans at the annual event after her pal Chris Martin's band Coldplay announced its slot. Beyonce has now confirmed the news, saying, "This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there. Everyone who attends is really appreciative of music and is in such a good mood that entire weekend." Beyonce watched from the side of the stage at the 2008 Glastonbury as her rapper husband thrilled the crowd with a storming show following huge criticism over a hip-hop act headlining the traditionally rock-oriented event. It is also rumoured British rockers The Libertines will follow up their comeback gig at last year's Reading and Leeds festivals with an appearance at this year's Glastonbury, which takes place in Somerset, England.

Beyonce and U2 to headline Glastonbury 2011?

Klaudia//February 9, 2011
Beyonce and U2 are reportedly confirmed to join Coldplay as headliners of this year's Glastonbury festival. Festival organisers are yet to officially announce the headliners, but U2 have long-since been rumoured to be playing this year's event. They cancelled their slot last year due to singer Bono having surgery. Organiser Michael Eavis previously said he'd asked the band to play at the 2011 festival. Eavis had also said of another 2011 headliner: "There's an American artist that I’ve been wanting to have for years and yonks and yonks and yonks." Now gossip website Holymoly.com has claimed that U2 and Beyonce are both booked, with Coldplay already revealed as headliners. Beyonce visited the festival in 2008, when her husband Jay-Z headlined, but she has never performed at the event. Glastonbury 2011 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton. Billed music takes place on June 24-26, with the site opening on June 22. Last year Gorillaz replaced U2 as headliners, with Muse and Stevie Wonder also playing headline slots.

New article: That Jay Z and Beyonce Matching Kicks Kinda Love

Klaudia//January 11, 2011
During the BET Awards in 2003 I witnessed the makings of a real relationship between two overly focused individuals willing to sacrifice and make time for each other in the midst of accomplishing their personalized greatness. I was the personal assistant to Beyonce while she prepared for the debut of her new single Deja Vu. I can recall having the song on repeat throughout the duration of my flight from Chicago to LA and feeling captivated by the 808's and horns. There was something about the song that made me feel as if I were being transported to another place all in the name of love. Like most people, I soon realized that the passion hidden behind Beyonce's vocals was fueled by her devotion and love for none other than Jay Z. I sat there in amazement as I watched Beyonce go over every step as if her life depended on it. I'd heard all the stories and rumors that she was evil and possibly the daughter of Satan but none of that surfaced. A prime example of her down-t-earth-ness was displayed when she happened to be thirsty and it was my job to get her some water but she chose to go with me in order to ease her mind. She was sweet and reminded me of that home girl we all have that no matter what she just wants to laugh at the end of the day. Everything was going well until Beyonce was informed that Jay Z missed his flight and wouldn't be able to make it to the show and perform. Her face went sour as she took a moment to squat on the floor and pout. She wasn't sad about him not doing his verse but the fact that she wouldn't see him as soon as she'd planned. She couldn't help but mumble to her mother that she missed him. She forced herself not to cry. Stood up and yelled from the top of her lungs.... "let's take it from the top." The passion and determination in her voice echoed throughout the empty theater as she stood on top of a short ladder that served as her entrance wagon.

Frank Gatson talks about Beyonce

Klaudia//December 8, 2010
Sam: To the new generation, your most prolific work has been with Beyonce. Having collaborated with her for so long, what is it about her that sets her apart from the competition?

Frank: Beyonce is the best in the game because she rehearses, plans and is very creative. She is nice, she is beautiful, she gets “it”, she is honest. She does not waste your time in rehearsal. When you’re in rehearsals you work very hard which is exciting. You might say everyone rehearses, but Beyonce is full-out, working harder than the dancers. She comes from a place of love for what she does. Most female dancers and performers don’t love it like her. She never complains when it hurts; she’s always in her heels killing it. She is a beast on stage and in rehearsal. She is so gracious, so fine, but not a bitch (she will push you to get the best out of you and I love that sh**) and that makes her a gift to this business and the world. She might not be from this planet (laughs). I would love to visit the planet she’s from (laughs) because I bet there are some amazing people there!

Sam: Beyonce’s ‘I Am…World Tour’ DVD was recently released and featured her traveling around the globe. With a new Beyonce project around the corner, how have these experiences – if at all – been fused into her upcoming musical and performance output?

Frank: I have heard some of the new project, but I can’t talk about it…yet.

Sam: Is there anything – at all – you can share with us about we can expect from the LP?

Frank: Once again, I cannot talk about it…yet (laughs).

Jay-Z Chose To Watch Beyonce From The Crowd At Obama Bash

Klaudia//November 5, 2010
Jay-Z snubbed the chance to watch his wife Beyonce from the VIP area at U.S. President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony last year (09) - because he wanted to "feel the energy of everyday people" in the audience. Beyonce was invited to sing for Obama on the evening he was sworn into office as America's new leader in January last year (09), and she was close to tears as she sang her rendition of Etta James' At Last. And despite an offer to watch his wife from the wings, Jay-Z felt compelled to soak up the electric atmosphere by standing in the crowd. In his memoirs, entitled Decoded, he writes, "(I wanted to) feel the energy of everyday people. It was unbelievable to see us - me, Beyonce, Puff (Sean 'Diddy' Combs), and other people I've known for so long - sharing in this rite of passage."

Beyoncé Will Not Join Jay-Z On Australian U2 Tour

Klaudia//October 25, 2010
Beyoncé has confirmed that she will not join her husband Jay-Z in Australia this December when he connects with U2. In the past, the "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" singer has joined her husband onstage during his concerts, but this time she will be hard at work on her next album. "It's not going to happen," Jay-Z tells Australia's Daily Telegraph. "I'm just shooting down the rumours before they start." Jay-Z also cleared up rumors about his wife's possible pregnancy, saying that there is "no truth" to them. "They do that every slow news day. This is like the fifth time. I think we have five kids now," he says. "No truth, but I wonder when people will stop giving it relevance? You can't do the same subject. At least change the subject, they have to find a new one."

Beyonce For Glastonbury Festival 2011?

Klaudia//October 10, 2010
Is Beyonce set to perform at next year's Glastonbury Festival? Reports today reveal that Knowles is currently in talks with the event's boss Michael Eavis, with the possibility of appearing on stage at the festival next June (2011). If Bootylicious Bey agrees, she'll follow in the footsteps of her rap star husband Jay-Z, who headlined the same festival in 2008. "After all the furore over Jay-Z playing Glasto, it went off brilliantly and he had a wonderful time," revealed an event insider to the Daily Star. "Beyonce was, of course, in the wings soaking up the atmosphere and told everyone how happy she was at Worthy Farm," continued the source. "Getting her to perform in her own right seems the ideal next step."
